Can someone summarize? Why did the rump convention fizzle out? Is it simply because they didn't have a parlamentarian and didn't know how to conduct business? Will this resume? How much business is left to conduct?

I guess I don't quite understand what was lost. The votes were already cast. We won two A and five B dlegates. The t large are stll being counted. The main sticking point was a couple RNC spots that were ties.

This is a lesson for all of us. If you go to your state convention read up on roberts rules of order before you go and be prepared to take control of the situation if the establishment tries to shut you down.

I think what was lost was the chance to vote on the RNC committeman and woman. They represent AZ on the RNC and can also vote in Tampa.

Why? Could you imagine the national convention breaking down and being held in the parking lot? Sean Hannity and Bret Baier and company might have heart attacks on the air. Romney would be in tears. It would be the greatest day in American politics in over 200 years.

We can't have these kind of mistakes with inexperienced people in upcoming states. Better organization and training should be priority #1 here on out.

Watching the feed it looked liked there was enthusiasm to do what Oklahoma did but the guy who took charge did a parking lot style rump convention before and thought nothing would come of it so he just lectured everyone on the importance of becoming precinct chairmen instead.

They still had Ron Paul people inside with the vote counting though. The police kicked them out because the police obviously don't understand the rules.

For some reason, I feel like we were duped into the parking lot. Not sure. I didn't hear anyone adjourn insude the building. I just heard someone yell "to the parking lot" and scores of people filed out.

What I envision is a gaggle of establishment people remained inside and continued the convention once the Paul people filed out. Harold the camera guy even said they couldn;t go back in because of police. I have a bad feeling about what went down at the end. IDK

I heard a motion to adjourn inside followed by ayes. Then they all went to the pariing lot. Seemed like chaos though so I don't know if it was official.
