Whether the states are going to fight back or not is an aside issue. If nothing else, it might just make the Federals think twice before they pull certain strings.
I'm encouraged by the growing resistance in the states against Real ID.
Another consideration in all of this is the fact that, as the depression deepens, the states are going to be ever-more dependent on the Federals for money and other goodies. A debtor is always a slave to the creditor.
