Are you an over-25 Ron Paul supporter? Post here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, I've been a RP supporter for a long time, but never posted on LibertyForum.

I just turned 30 (not even in my prime yet!) and RP is as relevant to me as any "young" person. Since when is "liberty" aged?

Welcome.

almost 40. God I hate seeing that. I remember when my dad turned 40 and he was fricken old.

50.

How does a small group of enthusiastic young students raise 6 million dollars in 24 hours from their mothers basement? They haven't been able to answer that yet!

......rounded off to nearest decade, ~60

('been supporting/following RP very closely for ~20 years now).

poll, what poll?

I believe there was an age poll way back when.....

I'm way, way, way past 30 (ha, ha).

Yep-old enough to have been a member of the Republican Liberty Caucus in 1993

Just turned 53. It was my college student son who first had me research RP in 2007. I thought I was a die hard liberal Dem. I thought wrong.

I am 62 and my husband is 70. We both voted for Ron Paul in the primaries. What drew my attention to him is how the media kept pushing him aside, and ridiculing him. It made us think: hmmm this guy might not be part of the establishment. So we began digging deeper into his voting record, and then into his videos and articles.

We discovered that he was for a return to the Constitution (among other good stuff), and meant it because his voting record backed it up. He is a rare breed in Congress these days, and one of the very few we take seriously. The majority are a joke.

I think the reason he does not realize how many of us older folks support him is because, like he says, he speaks mostly at the colleges. But that does not take away of the fact that college students have done much to advance his message, and I appreciate them.

26...

Will say in this small community of about 600 I live in, there's an older couple on the next block with "Ron Paul '08" signs STILL in their yard and another older couple (now just a lady I'm afraid) down the road that had "Ron Paul '08" signs in their yard and stickers on the car... of course we're in his district so he has a lot of supporters of all ages...

35.
My 33-Y-O brother is a fan.
My wife is about to turn 33.
Her brother is a supporter who doesn't post here. He's also 35.
Another 34 year old friend is a supporter,
50-something lady at work here voted for him in primary,
late 40-something friends from church voted for him in primary...

...in short, of everyone I know who supported him in some way, not a single one of them is a college student.

I'm 41. But we really need to work on supporters who are 50 and up! We need the geezer vote! How about "Geezers for Gold"?

Let's just say that I'm old enough that the "geezer" term offends me.
Draw your own conclusions. ;)
