Are we paying to bring all these people from south of the border ?

If they are spreading disease isn't that domestic terrorism. Do we not have a federal center for disease control to deal with this ?

I won't apologize for finding the thought of Ebola coming here to be terrifying, and there are African, Muslim immigrants who come through our border...maybe not many. That being said I am well aware it could be spread by someone traveling here by air or even by a healthcare worker. The problem with so many coming through the border undetected is the unknown factor. The children being housed in detention centers have already proven to be carriers of other diseases and they will be moved to other states. Call it irrational Fearmongering..I call it justified.

Murrieta- The Border Patrol Agent who is tasked with Health and Safety for the San Diego Border Patrol Sector has been issued a “cease and desist” order when speaking to media about the threat of illness as a result of thousands of immigrant children crossing the U.S. southern border.

Agent Ron Zermeno, who is also the Health and Safety Coordinator for the San Diego Sector was served a cease and desist order by his higher ups after he began to question the sanitary and health conditions for agents and for the 140 immigrant children who are being transported from Texas to California every 72 hours.

“Because I stood up and told the truth they are going to terminate me and I am going to fight it” says Zermeno who spoke exclusively to Benswann.com.

“They want to quickly get them through the system and get them into the community and let it become the communities problem” says Zermano.

“Every 72 hours we receive 140 children from Texas. In every one of these groups we are seeing some kind of disease or infection. We are seeing obvious scabies, head lice, kids coughing and spitting up mucus, poor sanitary and hygiene. These kids are wearing clothing they left their country in. Already we have had three agents who have contracted scabies from these kids.”

The agents need to refuse to do this on the grounds that it is hazardous to their health, and then sue the crap outta them if they get fired over it.

The logical, moral, reasonable, efficient way to resolve this would be freedom.

We can't have open borders because of welfare.

We can't allow a market of wages because of undue inflation.

We can't End the Fed because our monetary system is tied to it.

We can't stop bombing the world because the people need jobs.

This is what the argument reduces to.

It is an annoying, half-assed, fallacious argument.

What is the solution? Criminals ought not walk among free men. People should provide their own security, and if acting within the confines of the law establish a security force (that is, a force that works to protect individual rights... not extortioneers). I have written about this at great lengths. In short, freedom is the solution. Because we lack freedom in one area, does not mean that we are required to lack freedom in another area. How would we ever come to achieve freedom if that were the case? Logically, if that were the case, we would be on a consistent spiral of less and less freedom as collectivists and government bureaucrats enact laws to 'solve' the problems they created, thus creating more problems to 'solve.' The mentality perhaps explains a thing or two.

I recognize that nationalistic impulses and protectionist fallacies are rampant among Men. If I could opt out from it, that would be just great. But the freedom ensuring majority will never let that happen. And they'll use many of the same types of sophist arguments found in this thread to justify what they want. Be it welfare, their schools loans forgiven, war with a country they were taught to despise.

Just as a disclaimer, I am not directing these things towards you. It is the argument that annoys me so. I actually rather enjoy many of your posts (as I do Carly's).

Can I get a realistic solution, one that can be implemented in today's society. I seem to to get a utopian response of freedom. We need real solutions that can be done now. A step by step plan.

I also like freewill and freedom but how do we get there from here?

Everyone here probably knows of the Broken Window Fallacy.

Putting an undue strain on any system can cause that system to falter from the strain applied. You can put a dinner plate on a glass table, but not a car engine. What happens when we replace the Broken Window Fallacy with a Broken Welfare Fallacy? Will govt shills come out and make claims that by breaking the Welfare system we are "doing good for the economy"? I know the situation these people that want to come to the US flat out sucks, but we simply can not afford to take an estimated 165 MILLION people into this country without consequences. They seek to escape their own ghettos and corrupt govts, but instead, simply move their ghettos from there to here. We might be able to take care of a couple of people, but certainly can not handle giving Welfare to the entire world.

Dont get me started on "they're all Unvaccinated" either.

Obama just requested 3.7 billion to "address the problem of the children coming across the border"....it's not to stop them or send them back...it's to support them and relocate them here.

Tell me if this sounds familiar:

"I like Ron Paul and all but can you realistically close all military bases across the globe with Islamic terrorism running rampant?"

Or how about:

"Look, I like hunting and all but removing restrictions on firearm ownership is not only dangerous but it lacks common sense."

Perhaps:

"Yeah, it would be great if we lived in a society where people are angels and can be trusted, but we're not so until that utopia happens, the feds need to step in and bail these companies out. Letting them fail would create the worst economic depression imaginable."

These are all critiques I'm sure you're used to hearing by now, and yet when we've presented the libertarian solution to your immigration fears, you give the same stereotypical liberal/conservative "freedom is unrealistic" response.

No I simply asked for a real plan to fix the problem of the influx of illegal immigrants yet you just keep deflecting. I want a real and practical plan of action. Let's hear those libertarian ideas in a plan that will work. Even though our end game is most likely the same, my solution would not fit in your libertarian architecture so show me the solution.

Think about it.

Yeah. That is what I figured I might hear.
Anyway good luck with your thoughts.
You know, of the dozens of pages I've written regarding the education of the public, and the good that may come, this thread has proved what I already knew.

You clamor for the government. So long as it does your bidding.

This is why we can't have nice things. Collectivists who wish to live at the expense of others. Raised that way, probably, though I'm starting to suspect it is a flaw in human nature.

What do you want me to do? Spell out step by step how things will change through educational efforts? They won't... the people would not, or could not, read a book if they were paid. And your voting, money wasting, compromises will have less of an effect. That is, you are the minority. You will always be the minority. You can't see the forest through the clouds and you're talking to me about good luck with my thoughts?

You want to know a step by step plan? Buy some land. Far the fuck away from people.

An unfunny joke. As if I'm one, supposed to repeat myself on command, and two, as if I could say what needs to be said.

TFOH
