Are we going to win Maine? Anything outsiders can do to help?

Yes we can and will...Write Maine's Governor Paul LePage! (Please)

Hi Folks;
I'm from the great state of Maine born and raised here...my family settled the town where I live...been a lover of liberty for as long as I can remember. At any rate, friends, as you may know, while Dr. Paul was up here he stopped in to see Maine's Governor Paul LePage. http://bangordailynews.com/2012/01/28/politics/lepage-ron-pa...

What I'd kindly ask of my fellow Ron Paul supporters, is a sea of emails, calls, and letters to Maine's Governor. Having worked on both their campaigns, I can tell you that w/out us, the RP supporters help, Paul LePage would not be Governor. He knows this. It is a situation where he must be nudged. An endorsement would really help us seal the deal w/the undecided. Please join us in encouraging http://www.dailypaul.com/209803/write-paul-lepage-please Gov. LePage's support!
Thank you humbly.

RP2K12!

Advertise on Facebook to Ron Paul supporters only saying that new voters and unenrolled voters can register at their caucus.

Link the advertisement to this site:

This is big time everyone. Gigantic in my book, huge bang for the buck. 5000 total voters we should win this. Most of us on this site have donated a good chunk of money to help the cause of liberty. This is a way we can target our dollars, a 50$ ad campaign targeting Ron Paul supporters could easily pull in 5-10 new votes (maybe more).

We win a state this can become a whole new ball game.

We have the truth on our side, we have tools none of the other campaigns can use effectively because of this.

^There's also a great deal of value commenting/advertising on the local papers...we are building delegates everyday!

I am advertising to maine, I guess the problem is there are only about 4000 people that like ron paul and are over 18 and live in Maine.

Guess to get more votes we would have to reach out to a few more groups but the bang for the buck isn't as good at that point.

^The Letters to The editor are read up here...so are emails to the
Governor...(Check newslink.org for some papers)

Try including people who like the Libertarian Party, Rand Paul, Jon Stewart...

my facebook advertising is frozen for some reason, they might have had a problem with me registering for free coupons on more accounts. Ya, I included Alex Jones and campaign for liberty when I was making it.

The text I was going to use went something like this

title: Ron Paul Revolution 2012!
body: only 5,491 people voted in the Rep caucus in 2012. We CAN win this. Make sure to vote and bring a friend or two!

Get some High Def Vids off the net, youtube or http://ronpaulflix.com burn them to DVD using http://dvdstyler.org label them up give them out to people. Put enough out there are people will maybe pass them around.

Here's a nice viral idea, each speech be recorded in as good quality as possible, Burned to DVD, then labelled and handed out free or for a small donation at the next speech, would only cost 10$ or so to buy 50 blank DVD, all it takes is time, and decent labels, as RP tours, the Best speeches can be added to the DVD.
If you hand out 200DVDs per speech asking people to pass them on when they've viewed it, you can gaurantee many will ( many will leaving it in the car for 3 months to no doubt ) but it gets Ron Paul infront of probably 5 more people, Per DVD.
You could even incentivize this process by telling people they can make copies and give them away, or sell them on their blogs etc.

Why are you advertising to people who like Ron Paul? Those are the people you want to exclude from your ad budget!

I've been running a few facebook ads to Maine as well. I'd been linking to the gop site but I'll switch them to that ron paul maine link now. Gotten a couple hundred clicks so far.

GOTV! Want to make sure all 4,000 of them show up to caucus. If they do, we probably win.

I guess I just figure if you "like" Ron Paul you're going to caucus for him. The people I would think to target are the people who like the libertarian type groups, and not currently liking RP. I guess it's worth it though if even only 1 in 10 who clicks wasn't going to caucus and does b/c of it though.

Doesn't one have to be 18 by the date of the General election to participate in the Maine Caucus? I am pretty sure that is the case, as with most primaries and caucuses. Double check this, but if this is the case, also reach out to 17 year olds - they are all almost certainly unregistered.

This is the truth Provided they turn 18 before the election day in November...they can caucus...this is a huge mass we have been trying to tap into.
