Are Nazi's Left Wing or Right Wing?

I have heard them called both before, but don't care for Left/Right politics either way and don't see much of a difference.

They are socialist warmongers. We are free market peaceniks. They took the worst from both wings. We take the best from both wings.

Why do you think the Democrats are half Nazi, instead of being pure commies? Why do you think the Republicans are half Nazi, instead of being pure libertarians? Because otherwise the Communists would have dried up and blown away years ago, and the bad guys would always lose.

Which is exactly why the powers that be love to use those very terms to divide and conquer us.

Next thing you know, lefties are promoting intolerance and war, and right wingers are pushing socialism. It always feels expedient at the time. And they always feel like the fools they are when they realize what they're doing.

Perhaps there was, but over years of repeated misuse, definitions change. It's a problem, for me, with language when you are unable to hear the tone. Liberalism means? I just assume people are speaking modernly but there are a few that respect and practice language who to enjoy what they are telling you, you have to understand the evolution of the words.

What I'm saying is, give them 100 years, who the hell knows what Libertarian will mean?

Yup. Semantic shift will always be a barrier to clear communication and understanding. Newspeak makes it worse. The definitions are always changing...

this^^ If we draw a more proper paradigm with "pure liberty" on the left and "pure tyranny" on the right, Nazis are pretty far right.

Hell, even now we have people as "diverse" as Glenn Beck and Bill Maher causally throwing out that they are "libertarian." It already doesn't have a firm meaning in popular political discourse, because people are used to political parties being just a conglomeration of people based on a few "leading issues" rather than a firm philosophical ideology.

AFAIK, no. The nationalist rhetoric the Soviets used reminds me of American (and to a somewhat lesser extent British) conservatives.

I've been called a radical leftist and a right wing extremist. Both are labels that statists use to label people with their game of politics. It's always based on cherry-picking issues rather than solid principles.
