Please explain to me the faulty logic behind you wasting your time searching though page 100 or so to posts from last summer and bumping them to the front page. There MUST be a better way of spending your time. Not just for Ron Paul..but for yourself, quite frankly.

i'm writing a book... perhaps
i'm also thinking of doing it as an homage
to hunter thompson. if you remember
what his initial magnus opus was...

he wrote "Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas"
and then "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail"

so i thought maybe if i opt for the title
" Trepidations and Ambivilencies on the 2012 Campaign Trail"

i just might if my style is close to pure gonzo at least get a meantion
by people who knew how hunter thompson once covered politics...

i'm making a mental note of the older threads so as to get a feel
for the early days of this effort. yes, several of the threads were
on the pages between 1620 and 1640... and i found that they were
semi-intelligent. so i bumped them. i liked the description of an
early meet-up. admittedly starting up a revolutionary diary sorta
after the fact is sorta like being JOHN QUINCY ADAMs in Quincy Mass.
as the battles for BUNKER and BREED's HILL happen. the early battle
sorta sounded like fireworks in the distance to a precocious ten year old...

i was not here during the early days of this revolution.
you in turn is sorta like coming onto this in a manner
akin to martin van buren. the celebrated events are now
a hoary mythic lore, and part of the history of this place...

in terms of Founding Fathers, i do include young Andy Jackson in
this set of particulars. he MAY have read the Declaration of Independence
out loud at the age of ten in Tennessee's state capital and also that the
saber-slash scar could have a very cognicent motivation by that there brit officer...

Kludge is correct...

we have IM and email options...

however, i have at least explained this...

You have issues. lol

dern tootin' ... i am upset over taxation without representation and also
the fragging of our billl of rights. i am in a discontent akin to winter of 1775...

when bush wanted the house to follow the senate's suit and enact
his patriot act three bill a short while ago, i got livid and opted to register here.
call this my valley forge phase of something other than deepset coach potatoe
apathy. i decided to at least toss in my two cents into things, and sorta guess
the direction that the revolution is going now... when people do crticize me, i do
notice that they are. i do not have people on any 'ignor' list, and yes, i do concede
that i in my own way am a 'newbie'... too. life has its learning curves...

that too! i did have a bright idea about an interum phase of the revolution!

It's not just overt taxation, it's taxing via inflation lol

here is my idea http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=123675

the gist of it is, why not have taxpayers saying where their own taxes go
that the irs collects? i had the idea several gov't departments or subdepartments
could be options, as well as specific programs and budgetary projects...

totally. thats why my idea is an initial interum phase.
people could go into an electronic form or snailmail form
and say where the irs is to send their money. if the senators
and represntatives continue to have the 100% control if
the potus doesn't over the budget, i think the lobbyists shall
always flock. i feel if we must be seperated from our tax dollars,
then maybe before we cancel out the federal level income tax,
we MIGHt have the option of telling the IRS where its to go...

won't do it again... too soon at all. however that way i did sorta get a few trial
balloon ideas shot down a.s.a.p --- i did think if a Democrat wins the White House,
maybe the hype-driven Oscars could be used if ANYONE wants an early press release
out about a 2012 run, and i don't care if its the Oscars in 2oo9, 2o10, or 2o11!!!

if Ron Paul sits out the summer and fall, and then before mcCain presumed hand
is about to be placed on that there bible mid january, and this is after THIS seasons
danglin' chads in JEB Bush's Florida.... if we are certain McCain is to be our NEXT potus...
it would be only fair to announce the campaign early so Ron Paul can schedule iowa in
under a less hectic schedule. someone said he should have spent 100 days there. he
didn't quite, right before the caucuses. stands to reason an early campaign press release
and a humanistic scheduling of appearances MIGHt be the pump priming mechanism to
get people involved again. if any contest between the democrat and senator mccain
is razor tight, there will be a pressure on Ron Paul not to run. all we would be doing is
taking a nine month hiatus. we needn't flood the airwaves this summer with ads if we
wait until this winter. i think we could get the "jump' on the huckabee people by this,
even though i expect he's going to run in 2012 almost as well if not better than he did now...

ralph nader is in this year's fall race and is a democrat swear word on two legs as we speak...

...and if dr. ron paul gets on november's ballot and does not win, why not announce
in january, february or march that he's got his focus on the LOOMING 2012 race!!! an
early announcement, if not "politics as usual" at all, is perhaps a way where he can serve
his district with ability in the house of representatives and also keep everyone's hopes alive!

He's kind of old though.

isn't that the very trite bright word being SNL said about mcCain? hecht, hades...
heck, Dr. Ron Paul, he's ONLY a YEAR older than poor ex-pow john mcCain, and i'd
rather hand Ron Raul this here president mcCain's second term if it comes to that!

after the primary of 2000 in S.C --- if mcCain is so "hades" bent to win
the Oval Office by hook or by lobbyist shnook, and if HE indeed did
sign a contract with Ol' Scratch and fellow lobbyists, then if we cannot
stop this sorry state of affairs this September, i feel Dr. Ron Paul should
announce his sincere intent this January! i really do, even if its early!
