Anyone else nervous about Ron's new advisors?

I definately understand your concern Ian. But there are CIA agents who are fighting the good fight now and have in the past. I wasn't aware that Philip Giraldi was CIA and know nothing about him. Now that you mentioned it though, I shall be googling like crazy to relieve what few concerns I have . I imagine he is already a proven patriot or else they wouldn't of hired him. RP is quite aware of CIA dirty tricks and I can not even begin to imagine he would let someone unproven in his inner circle of the campaign.

Oh THAT Philip Giraldi. I didn't recognize the name but what he did by exposing Cheney's plan to nuke Iran on faulty premises was VERY patriotic and probably saved us from another false flag terrorist attack.

In August 2005, Philip Giraldi claimed that US Vice President Dick Cheney had instructed STRATCOM to prepare

"a contingency plan to be employed in response to another 9/11-type terrorist attack on the United States... [including] a large-scale air assault on Iran employing both conventional and tactical nuclear weapons... not conditional on Iran actually being involved in the act of terrorism directed against the United States."

The reason cited for the attack to use mini-nukes is that the targets are hardened or are deep underground and would not be destroyed by non-nuclear warheads.[3]

And his partner Vincent Cannistraro, in the international security consultancy, Cannistraro Associates, is another equal patriot and has quite the intelligence past:

He testified about the fabricated intelligence of the CIA that took us into the Iraq war:

A former counterterrorism chief claims that the now discredited documents that showed Iraq trying to purchase uranium were fabricated right here in the United States.

and about the White House Administration outting of one of their own CIA agents (Valerie Plame) in retaliation for her husband making public about the faulty intelliegence.

Both of these guys are indeed Whitehouse whistleblowers. The only thing that still concerns me is why they have been allowed to live!

Being in DC, I've had the opportunity to meet several former CIA people. They are without exception highly intelligent people. I am happy that the campaign is collecting that caliber of advisors.

I wonder wouldn't it be better to focus on doing away with the old CIA that has proven not to be on the cutting edge of Intel, and build a new CIA with transparency and is built by the American people, for the American people. Who do you trust to do that?

Sheesh. I'm all for transparency in government but an Intel agency has to keep some of what it knows secret otherwise it defeats the purpose of knowing it. Telling your enemies what you know, how you know it, and what you're going to do about it is just stupid.

Even though we have a terrifying group of rogue CIA/FBI agents that are doing the bidding of this criminal administration, it is a small percentage of them. I am convinced that it is the bravest of our CIA/FBI/Military people that are the only reason we are not in WWIII right now.

It was the military that outted those 6 nuke warheads that were "accidently" (oh puhleese!) loaded onto a B-52 and flown from Minot Air Force Base, N.D, to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., in August. They were undoubtably heading to Iran until someone put a stop to it.

Then the war rhetoric started up heavy again and our intelligence agenices by-passed the White House and released the National Intelligence Estimate in December, publically stating Iran had stopped their nuke program in 2003. If was a definate pre-emptive strike against this administration.

I am convinced we haven't nuked Iran yet because of these people. Go whitehats!

Officially Nervous

I understand the nervousness, but, with the Bush/Cheney Administration in office even Intelligence Agency People (Ray McGovern) see and speak about the outright lies that this Administration has and are committing. This is a great video, it should be a "Sticky" for all Ron Paul Supporters to see, hopefully Ron Paul knows about or has seen this video, maybe he can find some future Ron Paul Officials in there. The "funny" thing here is, most people have never even heard of any of these "Officials" voicing their opinions outright, you would think "news organizations" (MSM) would be looking for some of the real news that you will see and hear on this video.... nehhhhh.

 Make sure to listen to Bush speaking at the very end about, ways of thinking.

I'm very happy that Ron has added new advisers to the campaign. Gleeful in fact, based on how badly I've heard it's been going.

But there's one new addition that I'm a little nervous about: Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer and whistle-blower for Dick Cheney's plan to attack Iran with nukes. I don't feel comfortable with ANYONE from the CIA, regardless of their record, being in the Paul campaign. Once CIA, always CIA.

"When they got you, THEY GOT YOU FOR LIFE!" says Joe Pesci from the movie JFK, a film about the death of a President who wanted to end the CIA, end the war in Vietnam, end tax cut on oil companies, and end the Federal Reserve.

Sound familiar???

Sound familiar???

I would trust Dr. Paul with my life. I certainly trust him with my country. And the last thing Im concerned with is trusting him with his campaign.

I have faith in him.

this guy was a CIA whistleblower! Those people are totally ostracized and harrassed for stepping out and putting their necks on the line. In this case this guy stood up to DICKhead Cheney. If you are able to step away from that culture and tell them to 'suck it' then you're ok in my book...now there are plenty of ex-CIA peeps from the last few years who didn't say shit and kept their mouths shut, I wouldn't want them involved...

also i think JFK was one of oliver stone's nuttier movies...nobody would be in love with JFK the way they are today if he hadn't gotten shot...i remember when i was little my mom would flip out every time footage of it was on the news, kind of funny...

Dude - honestly, I support Ron Paul regardless, I am so hyped right now because, it is all coming together, the support is so crazy it is hard to ignore and I really think he has a chance, all he has said and done has been productive and gets results, I have no reason to doubt him and for me this revolution is far from over - so yes, I am saying whatever the Doc thinks, Im down for it!

Admittedly, this was my initial reaction as well, but I quickly gained my balance. Ron Paul has been elected how many times now in Texas? This isn't his first rodeo, he's been in politics for A LONG TIME, and knows the kinds of things that happen. Hell, just the other day I was reading an article from a Dem who ran against him in Texas who said he still won't write him off for the Republican nomination and referred to him as a "political genius" that pulls upsets when you least expect them.

The simple fact is he's a smart guy, and would not do something like this if he had any doubts.

As far as assassinations...probably won't happen again. I kind of fear it, but on the other hand we mostly just use "character assassination" on high profile political figures nowadays...true assassination draws too many eyes and ears. In the past that was acceptable because there was no mass communication except the media, who is easy to control. Nowadays something like this would be figured out in a week on the internet and they'd have a revolt on their hands...which is exactly why we can't lose control of the internet!

+1 and amen.

I am very pleased that Ron Paul has added his new economic and foreign policy advisors. First off, it's a signal to other white hats in government and the media that Ron's campaign is not a quixotic quest. Secondly, each of these men has a very solid personal sphere of influence that will draw more insiders to our side. And secondly, look for Ron's speeches and writings to have much startlingly fresh and pertinent topical content.
