Anti-Bullying EVERYWHERE.........

Has anyone noticed the mass influx of anti-bullying crap everywhere? I was bullied, i did some bullying, i came out fine (so i think). The way this is so heavily mainstream now makes me wonder is there some Dept of Education No Child Left Behind type mandate going around that the general public doesnt know about. I get this strange vibe because i work in medicine and theres ALWAYS some new thing lurking that the hospital HAS to do or some of our federal funding gets cut. Ive seen anti bullying stuff on billboards, tv, everywhere! Any teachers / school administrators around with any knowledge of this?

It is basically because they now think bullying leads to mass shootouts at schiools. And I guess it does.

But same with me. I bullied some people when I was little. I got bullied too, and luckily my farther, said fight therm back. Bullies like easy targets. He was was right. They'd try to friend me after I pushed back harder than they did.

Really, I think the lesson here is not that we need govt influence, but we just need kids to realize that if you keep picking on the wrong person, they might just really fuck you up. (mass shooting shit, etc). I bet the message is getting received no matter what govt does, or hope it is because it will always be true.

I know I still usually take up for people who are being bullied in some fashion. Maybe that has increased in schools lately with kid by itself? Anyone know?
