Ann Coulter Debates Reason Magazine Libertarians On Stossel

I was extremly dissapointed with Matt and John here. They let Ann control most of the debate, and their rebuttals lacked sustance to HER arguments.

My thoughts exactly.

I agree. I think that alot of viewers will not realize how insane Coulter sounds when she is advocating war(and the deaths of a million people in Iraq) to spread democracy.

Scheuer would have been nice. Thomas Woods would have been interesting as well. Even if he is not a foreign policy expert, I would have liked to have seen him explain to her just how "conservative" her positions are when she calls people liberal.

I find myself suspicious of chiks with big adam's apples like Coulter. It makes me fearful that she is packing wiener.

The LP CT actually negotiated with Coulter years ago to run for Congress on their line, but she backed off because she didn't want to endorse the LP Presidential candidate, or question the war on drugs. Ultimately, she's an example of what Lew Rockwell noted about the problem with modern conservatives, that "they hate the left more than they hate the state."

She's a professional troll. She gets paid to say controversial things, stir up peoples emotions, and drive ratings. She's very, very good at what she does, and I bet she gets paid lavishly for it.

A year or so ago she came to Canada to give a speech at a university. A bunch of the students decided to protest her in the streets and demand that she not be allowed to speek. In the end, she used their rage to her advantage and created a shit-ton of publicity for herself.

I do agree that she's a disgusting human being, though.
