An Inspiring Blog Piece

I like Gary North a lot, but he's a little pessimistic.

He's damn funny in person, though.

Gary North is my hero.

He's written LOADS of great articles which can be found on his personal page or LewRockwell.com.

Everyone here should seriously check out his writing!

The Presidential candidate who first made the Internet work for him was Howard Dean, whose pre-convention campaign in 2004 was entirely based on the Internet. He raised over $40 million, but then squandered both the money and his lead by a lack of local organization in the primaries.

I find this part interesting. I know if Ron can raise 40 million just with the internet alone, he'll do great because he and his campaign can manage money far more efficiently.

How did Dean get $40 mil and how why the hell don't we have 40 mil. Damn it, Ron Paul is so much better than Howard Dean.

I wondered about that. "A lack of local organization in the primaries....." Is he saying essentially that the internet support didn't vote?

How did Dean get $40 mil and how why the hell don't we have 40 mil. Damn it, Ron Paul is so much better than Howard Dean.

If 30,000 of the myspace users donated an average of 1000 dollars each, that would be 30 million.
I think I've donated a total of 200 myself. More later.
