All Hand on Deck 4 Ames!!

I came across some alarming information at the desmoinesregister.com website. According to an article about an Iowa poll Mitt Romney is leading (even though he's not even going to be in Ames)! Michelle B. is in second place. Herman Cain is in third place. And Ron Paul is trailing behind with only 7% of the vote!! With the straw poll only 11 days away, this is VERY scarey!

Another article I read there was about Michelle B's move Fire From the Heartland to be shown in Iowa before the Straw Poll. Because of that I think it's absolutely essential that Ron Paul's For Liberty movie be shown in Iowa too. And if it's possible to be put on all Iowan cable access stations in Iowa.

A third article showed that most people who will be voting are religious. So it's crucial to reach the Christian conservatives in Iowa!!

You can also invite your friends, family, neighbors, etc over for a For Liberty party. It's an awesome film and can wake alot of people up and garner alot of support for RP. Thanks.

How are these percentages measured?

Or was this just a regular poll among likely caucus voters?

I'm not sure, but the fact that it was reported on the desmoines, iowa register website scared me!! Now I'm very afraid RP may not win. And I'm more determined than ever to make sure I can do whatever I can to make sure he does...donate to moneybombs, donate to iowaforronpaul, continue to contact people, etc.

A couple of more ideas about the RP film For Liberty:

For friends, family, neighbors who don't want to attend your For Liberty party here is a youtube link of the film so you can email it to them: http://youtu.be/GR4WYqabTxU

Also, please be supportive of Esoteric's For Liberty screening that's to take place on August 12th in Iowa. Please attend if you can and please invite others. Also, flyers can be handed at the Iowa state fairs leading up to the Ames straw poll.

I know some RP Iowans had concerns about out of staters coming to Iowa. I beg of you please put you differences aside for the greater good. Esoteric and others are there to help out so RP can win. Just think how happy you'll be when RP wins the Ames straw poll vs. how sad you'll be if he doesn't. Thank you.

Like I mentioned above, the Christian conservatives have to be reached with the message of why they should vote for RP. Most of them won't vote for RP because they've been brainwashed by Fox News.

I put together a youtube playlist showing them why they should support RP. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL83121A0E05A0F19A

Please send it to all of your Christian family and friends. Another idea that comes to mind to reach them is to put together a flyer for them. Something like "Why Christians Should Vote For Ron Paul" with a list of reasons that will appeal to them, like
1. RP believes in God and freedom of religion.
2. Jesus said blessed are the peacemakers and RP is for peace.
3. RP is prolife and supports homeschoolers.
4. He is a dedicated family man.
Etc. etc. etc. - topics that concern Christian voters.

Most of the Christian conservatives/tea partiers seem to support Michelle B. They need to see why they should support RP instead. (BTW I also included in the playlist a video that shows them why they shouldn't vote for MB)

After making the flyers for Christians make lots of copies, then on Sunday morning, August 7th, when they're in church put a copy on each car windshield in the parking lot. Go to as many churches as possible in your neighborhood to reach them. I think we really need their votes.

In addition to the above, the RP moneybombs, and contacting more people to vote for RP on 8/13th - I'm going to try to think of more ways we can help RP to win the Ames straw poll. RP said he would be discouraged if he didn't do well at Ames. So we have to do our best to help him be encouraged.

The poll you're reffering to is old news. June 25th to be exact.... http://race42012.com/2011/06/25/poll-watch-des-moines-register-gop-iowa-caucus-3/

in fact the latest poll from July showed Ron @ 14% (American Research Group), granted, who knows what the percentage really is..... but don't freak out over a poll that is 5 weeks old....

Thank you for providing the link. I tried to, but was unsuccessful. And thanks for pointing out the date. Honestly, I was more focused on the headlines and the article, and didn't notice the date when I first saw the article. However, I'm still very concerned! Although 14% is better than 7%, I still think that's pretty low.

well to be fair, i don't know if 14% is a legit number although i HOPE it is. In the poll in which Paul gets 14% the leader (Romney) is @ 21% or 22% and that is just a couple percentage points away from Ron so it is really anyones race if those numbers hold up.
