AMERICANS ELECT!

You conspiracy nuts drive me nuts.

According to you people we shouldn't even try, right?

It's a win/win situation for us. If Ron Paul is the Republican nominee then we don't need American's Elect. If Ron Paul isn't the Republican Nominee then Ron could still be on the general election ballot running as a Republican with a Democrat (Kucinich?) VP. Oh, how terrible!!
coincidence theorists. ;)

Are you so far gone in conspiracy land that you think voting for Ron Paul on their site will somehow help the globalist NWO lizardpeople win? Just vote on the site and let's see what happens, and we can all claim conspiracy theory after the dust settles.

If you want to waste your time go the fuck ahead; I'm sure it'll make about as much of a difference as voting in the "real world" does.

Don't you think it's weird that Fox and MSNBC have both fellated AE on air?

First Ron Paul said no third party run.
Second, Even if he wins... and then accepts... and then is actually given the AE nomination, the MSM will ignore him, like they ignore Gary Johnson and how they ignored Ralph Nader.

I love how it has a political quiz to show who you match, and in the quiz they present the most limited and typical two sided answers plus some compromises to complicated issues despite bragging about eliminating the lack of choices in American politics. You'd think it would make more sense to just use the very easy to read and accurate Nolan Chart. The AE quiz sucks. And the answers and questions are extremely vague.

I'm not gonig to hold my breath that the AE people will honor there intent if ron wins.

I went though there process anyhow, because ether they honor the results and its awesome, or the don't and its just one more check next to corrupt system. Either way is a win for me.

One hurdle to Ron getting the AE nomination is that any potential candidate has to formally accept a candidacy in May. GOP primaries are still going on at that time. Highly doubt Ron Paul will look at anything else while the primaries are still going on.

You're pretty funny too. Americans Elect is run by CFR members. Take a look at who runs American Elect. Take a look at what the CFR supports. Draw your own conclusions.

I know CFR is some kind of buzzword around here. But within that organization there are lots of different beliefs. I know some CFR members who are eminently reasonable about foreign policy, although not non-interventionists to the degree of Ron Paul. And of course, others are neocons and war hawks. But it's an organization, just like a lot of other organizations. Look at the people who support Ron. I think the 9/11 Truthers are mentally unhinged. They think I'm as unhinged as I think they are. And yet, we're all supporters of Ron. And when people talk to me, they say "Wow, I didn't know all Ron Paul supporters aren't nuts." And that's how I see the CFR. People are members for all kinds of reasons. And they don't all agree on everything.

And the most important thing of all: Americans Elect originally gave their board an overruling vote on the candidate they nominate, but I think they've backed off of that now. So, it really doesn't matter what the board believes. If the process is conducted fairly, and they can't overrule the result, then I say use the platform it gives us. Because it's ruinously expensive to get on the ballot for a presidential election.

You're just very naive, and you buy the CFR's fake debate they stage. Look at all the wars America's been involved in since the CFR was established. They push intervention all the time, they just give an alternate opinion to sucker simpletons like you into thinking they are somehow giving both sides a soapbox. They aren't.

Once again, you are pathetically naive. They won't allow Ron Paul to be their candidate under any circumstances.
