Amazon ship date 4/30 :(

I preorded my copies of the book, and I know some stores already have it and I have to wait another 2 weeks before it ships. I thought they'd be able to get it out the door sooner.

Go to the ronpaul2008.com and you will see this on the front page. I would say they know when the book is coming out and when it hits stores. Do people around here not go to the HQ site everyday also.

On the other hand, HQ leaves out the "The" from the title. Borders says it will be in their stores on April 15. If Amazon is not shipping this book by next week, I owe everyone in this forum a Coke.

thats messed up, the orignial amazon date was the 14th. Why wont HQ sell some autographed copies? i cant drive 1000 miles to get a copy ;o

I pre-ordered over a month and my ship date is May 5th! This sucks.

Whenever there is huge demand for a book Amazon's systems go crazy. I would ignore that, it will ship sooner than May 5th, or April 30th for that matter (if you preordered it). See Thomas Woods LRC post yesterday for an explanation of how their systems panic.

That is probably the answer. Looking at our order dates... and then they can only handle shipping so many books per day... so, first come, first server on distribution.

Amazon will accumulate a bunch of orders to a given locale prior to shipping so they can get the best ship rate possible.

If you live in a rural area, you might be screwed.
