pakistan mobilized 100k troops in the FATA region (federally administered tribal regions). there were something like 1000 casualties on the paki side and they killed "100s" of terrorists. the GAO article says that AQ forces in the region are fully regenerated.

the FATA region is a very dangerous place. it's still mostly run by the tribes with the paki government claiming that it's theirs. wiki on the FATA

It could spread contamination like wild fire.

Americans are less able to fight off infections due to all the antibiotics people have taken over the years. Just look at what MERSA is doing right now.

My sister-in-law just got over a bout and had a PIC in her arm for six weeks with heavy duty antibiotics twice daily. The problem is now she could be even less immune due to six weeks of that drug. Gyms are the worst for spreading MERSA, if one is not careful.
