The thing about Rand's position on the Civil Rights Act is that it won't make him do any worse among blacks than the last two Republican candidates for President did. You can't get much lower than the 4% of the black vote that Romney got in the last election.

Because Republicans have been ignoring the hell out of them. Certainly, as individuals, there are many black who are Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians. But people groups exist in the community as well. That is not a collectivist idea. It is a fact. Unfortunate perhaps but true. Republicans need outreach into the black community. That is not an insult towards blacks or people of any ethnic or racial group. It is just a cold hard fact.

Al got a show after the irony of MSNBC's all white (at that time) line-up started to get noticed and commented on.

I'd like to suggest that Americans that work for private industry are the "minority" that deserves courting and preferential treatment.

How about putting an end to this ethnic segregation that's been used to segregate the population and instead segregate those who derive income from government....
