Voted.

As of this posting, Cruz is leading with ~38%, Rand is in second place with about 34%.

Let's see if we can improve upon that.

Cruz seems very popular on internet polls and Twitter, kind of like Ron Paul. I wonder if it will amount to anything.

Cruz is rising fast again, does anyone know if his supporters have a network for spreading the word about internet polls like this?

Let's see how some of the FB groups do with this...posted on several (IRLC, Indiana for Ron Paul, Indiana Campaign for Liberty, etc...).

It is amazing how barren the grassroots must be among the bottom 6 in that poll. Not that that means anything if the MSM/MIC orchestrates 2016 like every other election. Just something to note.

These polls are useless when we do things like this. Best to just monitor them and let them run their course. That's good advice. They're meaningless and become useless once corrupted.

It's cheap advertising to everyone else who votes in these polls. Without the internet - however inane - this movenent would still be in the "newsletter" stages.

This was one of the things we did to break through the blackout 7 years ago. No one ever heard of Ron Paul, yet he won any online poll you could find.

Rand needs to attack Cruz for co opting the popularity of Jeff Sessions on immigration. Rand should say his squishy stance is the same as Cruz because Cruz is running around like he is some sort of hawk.

Rand gets attacked for the same reasons Cruz should: some sort of work permits at some point for illegals and more tech visas.

Hmmm... this is interesting...

last time I looked, earlier today, Cruz was down at around 2800 votes / 34%; Rand had about 4000+votes and was at about 40%+

Now, all of a sudden, Cruz has had a sudden influx of support:

Ted Cruz 39.94% (4,280 votes)

Rand Paul 37.46% (4,015 votes)

To the mattresses!

On Edit:

It gets more interesting, because now I see the following article feature highlighted at the site:

Rand Paul wins AL.com's presidential poll and now, he's coming to Alabama: Today's political update

Alabama Republicans will host Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul at its winter dinner on Feb. 20.

If a new AL.com poll is any indication, he will get more than a warm welcome.

A recent AL.com poll puts Paul ahead of nine other leading contenders for the GOP presidential nomination. Paul garnered 43 percent of the vote, followed by Ted Cruz at 31 percent and Dr. Ben Carson at 14 percent.

This was a poll worth voting in, headlines like that help us. :)

He won the poll. That is nice. Plus he is coming here in Feb to speak at the Repub. banquet in Montgomery. But he has not chance in Alabama, because in the Republican primary, Alabama is going to go with the candidate who is closest to the Religious Right. If a theocrat is running, Alabama will vote for him.
