Yep. He was pardoned by King George Bush I on his last day in office. He is also Paul Ryan's number one foreign policy adviser.

The P.A./PLO actually already does officially recognize Israel; it was one of the conditions for the creation of the P.A. in the Oslo Agreement. This is why Israeli rhetoric immediately shifted from saying they refused to make a deal until the PLO recognized Israel to saying they refused to make a deal until the PLO recognized Israel "as a Jewish state" and Hamas did the same. If the PLO and Hamas were to someday recognize Israel "as a Jewish state," the new demand would be that Israel won't make a deal until both the PLO and Hamas "recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel." Then it will be that Israel won't make a deal until both the PLO and Hamas "apologize for terrorism." etc. etc.

AIPAC lobbies agenda is exposed again, they want status quo with US tax payers funded occupation of Palestinians ( that plot requires buying puppet politicians among Palestinians and dictators in Egypt to blockade Palestinians from both sides) and probably do not mind resulting blowbacks to use them as excuse for mideast wars /more interventions.

I didn't understand at first either, but Rand has introduced essentially the same bill he did back in the spring under a new name now. So in respect to Matt, he's just giving the people the option of enlighteningly themselves on the full scope and history of this new bill Rand just introduced. In other words this "new bill" is not so new and has actually had a different name in the past. I know for myself I like having the full picture rather than half the story. Thanks Matt.

You're absolutely correct. But it goes beyond mere clever gamesmanship. Rand is making very public stands, all reasonable and consistent with his underlying philosophy, on a broad range of issues.

I'm honestly beginning to think that the two wonderful, eye-opening campaigns of Rand's Dad Ron were only setting the stage for something even bigger yet to come.
