Has anyone here actually adopted a meetup?

How about contacting them and urging it's members to join a different Meetup that wasn't going away?

Just curious...

We are down to 453 Meetups with just under 80,000 members. That's a reduction in strength of about 50%, IIRC...

Adopting the WV meetup tonight or tomorrow. Have a local candidate I'm organizing a campaign for, would like to introduce him to the people I used to volunteer with and see what they think of him.
