Trump Hires Neocon Slayer (Col. Macgregor)
Pentagon senior adviser Col. Macgregor accused Pompeo and senior politicians of taking money and getting rich from 'the Israeli lobby'
"You have to look at the people that donate to those individuals," Macgregor said in a September 2019 interview when asked if then-national security adviser John Bolton and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham wanted war with Iran. "Mr. Bolton has become very, very rich and is in the position he's in because of his unconditional support for the Israeli lobby. He is their man on the ground, in the White House."
"The same thing is largely true for Mr. Pompeo, he has aspirations to be president," he added. "He has his hands out for money from the Israeli lobby, the Saudis and others."
An outspoken critic of American foreign policy and "endless" wars, Macgregor also said the Israel lobby has "enormous influence" on Congress and accused the lobby of wanting to instigate "military strikes" with Iran in a 2012 interview with the Russian-state media network RT.

Pompeo’s parting gifts for Israel
https://mondoweiss.net/2020/11/pompeos-parting-gifts-for-israel/Pompeo's last-minute moves to further legitimatize Israeli annexation, and delegitimatize opposition to Israel’s apartheid rule over the Palestinian people, will be difficult for the incoming Biden administration to reverse.

The Trump administration’s self-described “reality-based foreign policy approach” has overturned long-standing US policy that deemed Israeli colonies in the West Bank inconsistent with international law. And through the publication of its so-called “deal of the century,” the Trump administration also has set the stage for Israel’s additional annexation of large swaths of the West Bank.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered today to Israel two parting gifts of inestimable value on his farewell tour of the Middle East, the importance of which go well beyond his visit to the illegal Israeli colony of Psagot in the Palestinian West Bank.

U.S. had emergency plan for attacking Israel in 1967
Apr 23, 2007 -
For some time, the United States had had an emergency plan to attack Israel, a plan updated just prior to the 1967 war, aimed at preventing Israel from expanding westward, into Sinai, or eastward, into the West Bank.
In May 1967, one of the U.S. commands was charged with the task of removing the plan from the safe, refreshing it and preparing for an order to go into action.
