Active Duty Soldier Set himself on Fire DC Israeli Embassy

I think the argument is that it's a deranged form of protest. He could have done anything else, including fighting as a mercenary for Palestine as an extreme form of protest, but he lit himself on fire instead. He might be Air Force, but he's not a rocket scientist.

Why fight for Palestine by force? That's not going to accomplish any good.

The History of Self-Immolation as Political Protest

You're on twatter now?? Never thought I would see the day. :smirking:

Great to see you back around brother, thanks for the "follow".

Yeah I crimped and folded right around when Musk bought it out.

I still hate the formatting though, like the DailyPaul with autism.

Lol, that's when I decided to come back. I decided after they suspended me it was a waste of time, progressive liberal cesspool.

'raising awareness' is often a hobby of narcissists

There are historical precedents. Self-immolation is the most extreme form of protest but it is an established one.
Not in our culture. If you're going to give up your life for a cause, it better accomplish something, like at least try to save a life or vanquish a powerful enemy. This guy affected nothing. What was going on in his life that this was the most positive goal he could come up with? He was not thinking straight. Did he not have friends or family? Sad that he killed himself, but he's not a hero.

Cough.. Cough... He wanted to draw attention to try & save Palestinian lives from a very powerful military force (Israel )

No one needed him to draw attention

That's what he imagined, but it was unnecessary since that issue already has plenty of attention. His actions won't save anyone or affect what happens next. In a few days, maybe a week, he'll be forgotten...but he'll remain dead forever.

I think you're dead wrong.

Active Air Force lighting himself on fire in Nations Capitol in front of Israel Embassy is a historical action. Just like monks burning themselves for Nam'

That's not in the powers to be script.

BTW, do you care @ all about arabs trapped in total bombardment of Gaza or are you a kill 'em all & take land guy?

I do not give a fuck.

Not my circus not my monkeys.

Not a dime of arms, handouts, weapons...not a fucking dime to either side.

Both of these groups, Arabs and Jews, have openly stated over and over again their goal is the destruction of white, western, Christian civilization.

A pox on both their houses, may they slaughter each other to oblivion, fuck them both.

ETA - And every single one of them here in my country that are not 100 percent vetted as citizens and citizens of this country alone, get the fuck out as well.

I feel bad for the kid actually.

Having no sense of his history or accomplishments or his place in the world, thrown into the meat grinder and then wondering what the fuck, over...yeah I can see a descent into madness.
