Ron Paul will be the best president this country has ever had. This thing we've going is bigger than most realize. It's literally going to be a revolution!!
He'll be great with Russert. No worries!!
Eh, I know people who have given up on Ron Paul because of his answer to evolution. Sad, but true. The thing is, the man can't help it. If you're raised under certain dogma, just like the vast, vast majority of 70-year-old Texans, there's not much one can do; then it is an environmental issue (that is, one being a product of one's environment), and not an issue of intelligence or anything such.

I think most of you are conservatives and you're underestimating the importance of this question. A lot of people will use the answer to this question to evaluate a candidate's judgment skills.
LOL What's the difficult question, Perry? I thought you just posted an opinion that the evolution question would be the worst thing Russert could ask Paul? Are you saying you want this thread to be an endless evolutionary debate? sounds pretty divisive and troll-like to me.
Pardon me, but since humans only see less than 1% of the visual spectrum of light and have no conscious or sensory understanding of 99% of the universe that happening around them, I'm going assume that we don't have all the facts yet to know the truth with concrete certainty as to where we came from.
Whether it's "faith" in today's taught sciences or "faith" in a religious belief, I'm not going to be so arrogant *hint* to malign one faith over another just because I might have fooled myself into believing I know it all.
Your motives are suspect by the ways you're trying to lead the discussion. The results of your consistent hammering of the evolution question are obviously going to be endless and pointless prostelytizing from both sides of this issue, which will do nothing but waste time and stir emotions. Is that what you were really after? Truly, Perry, tell us. lol
I believe the trolls will jump on this threadwagon to make this a megapost. Job well-done, Perry. Job well-done. Hope your ego is satisfied, oh great Ron Paul supporter.
And if that offends ignorant, bigotted atheists, I certainly won't lose any sleep over it.
Only 3% of the population self-identify as "atheist".
I do think this forum is important....for the Ron Paul campaign. And I have a HUGE HONKIN' ego. But I don't understand how the former correlates to the latter. Whatcha mean?I think you need to calm down and take my previous post into consideration.
I'm not going start a debate on evolution with you.
If you think this forum is so important then you're the one with the ego. This thread might get 1500 views from 100 people. Big deal. Tomorrow morning Paul will have 2,000,000 views.
Strawman argument. You invent a ridiculous thought and respond to it as though it were mine. Maybe, maybe, maybe I'm just judging you by your behavior on this thread. Maybe, I'm condemning the arrogance you shown earlier to others for having different opinions than yours. I have no clue what drives you, but I still believe your earlier statements to be troll-like and unproductive.Maybe, just maybe, i am someone who is not trolling but concerned.
Or maybe you actually believe I'm feeding my ego or this is some sort of a popularity contest for me. Could it be that I've spent hundreds of hours on ronpaulforums to bring down Ron Paul and I've been planning everything since August?
Huh? You started this thread because why again? I'll look in the mirror and try to find the hypocrisy of my behavior. Nope, what my huge honkin ego is feeling is total frustration with the evolutionary ping-pong blather. Nothing hypocritical about that.Get real. You accuse me because you are worried nad don't like to hear it out loud.
Which by the way is the same reason I started this thread. Now stop being a hypocrite.
I'm sure I will. This is politics and this is what we face in the very near future. If you aren't aware of it now you soon will be.

I'm sure I will.
Because he might be our next president. Because some are concerned about his more traditionally conservative viewpoints which often overlap with evangelicals and contradict libertarians. Because admitting you don't believe in evolution bespeaks a distrust of science so deep that it would raise doubts about ones capacity to fairly analyze economic and social issues.
People who believe the world is flat may be able to make chefs or great artists or great accountants, but I wouldn't want them sailing my ship.
Do you believe in evolution?
The racist questions are child's play. When Paul answers this question it is going to hurt us. I am sorry but it's true.
Somebody tell me how one's beliefs on creationism and evolution will have an impact on how they will run the country if that person wants the government out of our lives and leave most things up to the states.
