I think there is a answer to it into why they can print more money to do that.

When considering why things had being increasing in cost of living for example.

It is even worse than that.
All the government agencies are getting a cut of everything you make, own, buy. The more it costs the more they get.
People are always claiming the rich get richer while the poor suffer. Consider all Government the rich ones that keep getting richer.
My God they are worse than a spoiled child that you cannot cut off. It is Extortion worse than any "criminal enterprise".

I had a salesman work for me years ago and all my raw mateirals were going thru the roof. I had to pay more for everything but in order to win a job I had to still be competitive. So I had to do the job for less profit. The salesman didn't care his cut goes up if the price goes up and he has no skin in the game.
