ABC plans to ignore RP on Feb 5th (proof enclosed)

Maybe we should send the MSM some emails like from all of us warning them that their might be some deranged Ron Paul supporters are getting restless and are tired of their crap. I think a few thousand letters should wake them up.

VP of ABC is mad at me!

As some of you may know I am a producer at a conservative talk radio station.

After posting the contact information for the top directors of ABC News along with their coverage plan of Super Tuesday (which excludes Ron Paul), they have apparently read these forums and sent my boss an e-mail about it. By the way, the information I posted is available to the public on the ABC News website:

http://abcnewsradio.com/08election/advisories/supertuesday.html

http://abcnewsradio.com/contact.html

VICE PRESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER Steve Jones of ABC News authored the e-mail in which he mentioned his displeasure of the situation.

Apparently he thinks we are “protesting” and “intending to disrupt his news operation to achieve political gain”.

To be fair, he did however say “I respect the rights of these people to complain” and his e-mail was very cordial.

He also mentioned that Peter SalingerDirector of ABC News Special Events “had to turn his cell phone off at 3am because the deluge of calls was unending” He continues “In addition our newsroom today was distracted from its primary operations so staff could answer calls from Ron Paul supporters”

While I do find this humorous, calling members of the media at 3am on their personal cell phones is not appropriate and I do not encourage this activity. In fact it reflects poorly upon Ron and ourselves.

I don’t want to "disrupt" anything at ABC. I never encouraged anyone to disrupt anything. So if anyone here is going to call or e-mail ABC, be polite, and don’t call at all hours of the night. Also don’t be rude, obnoxious, disruptive, etc. All you should do is state your opinion in a courteous and mature manner- they’ll get the point.

The information is publicly available and has been prior to my post so I have not posted anything that was private, confidential, secret, proprietary, etc. Again, please do not behave poorly with this information because it makes Ron Paul look bad. Our actions reflect upon Ron. Please keep that in mind.

Don't worry about this

Here is the ABC "coverage plan" for Super Tuesday from their secret website:

Notice their coverage plan doesn't include Ron Paul but does include the others.

Let them know what you think:

There will be plenty of time after Feb 5th, when there will only be McCain and Dr. Paul in the race...plenty of time. Don't panic over this issue, Dr. Paul certainly isn't. Indeed, it even plays into his hand.

But what will hurt is a bunch of crazy, hair-on-fire RP supporters Fax-screaming at these people...something you should never do to people who by ink by the gallon and paper by the roll.

Theyre still ignoring Ron Paul eh? hmm. fuck these guys. they piss meo ff

Bump again

What the f***?

This still hasn't been resolved?

Screw ABC, I made a thread about their "Election Rewind" on GMA yesterday morning.

They said, "There are five candidates left. Seven if you count Mike Gravel and Ron Paul".

They have no intentions of correcting this.

Gentleman,

Don’t know if you realize that you didn’t assign a radio correspondent to cover Ron Paul: (http://abcnewsradio.com/08election/advisories/supertuesday.html)

May I respectfully request that you add him to your list of Republican Candidates to have Radio News Coverage. He is a very viable candidate; has raised the most funds in Q4; included in that, has received the highest donation totals from the military. He has tremendous public support which would be common knowledge if you and your fellow media networks would report the news fairly.

Your website moniker reads, “Trusted. Credible. Complete.” How about honoring that claim?

Sincerely,
