OK, the article is pretty amusing. Can't post the whole thing here what with copyright laws and such but if you're the type not to click through, here's an excerpt for you to comment on:

Because I don’t much care if it’s true. Given Heidi, I wouldn’t blame Ted. After all, she apparently refuses to live with him. And given Ted, I wouldn’t blame Heidi.

For those of you who indeed like to read a humorous bit of sarcastic truth....click away: http://spectator.org/articles/65888/sex-scandal-who-cares

If it turns out that Ted Cruz is secretly some strain of unbeliever and gets his kicks in private by mocking the fools that think he's some sort of modern political messiah, you can again count me as not surprised. American Christianity has largely devolved into a mockery and an economic racket, completely devoid of any interest in the truth. People can go on about their business hating Trump, but it isn't going to turn Cruz into someone worth your vote.

Don't know what to make of any of this, other than it's pretty convenient to have this kind of thing come out right as the most critical voting is going on, with no time for the truth to come out.

Something about Ted Cruz always struck me as very Jim Bakker-like. Color me shocked that yet another faux evangelical is involved in a sex scandal. ;)

Highlights from article:

"Given Heidi, I wouldn’t blame Ted. After all, she apparently refuses to live with him. And given Ted, I wouldn’t blame Heidi. ...

The little incident that sticks in my mind is the story that she once ran out of the house and was found on the side of the highway by the police, who thought her suicidal. What sticks in my mind is that Ted hadn’t followed her.

From that story I have taken a picture of a mind utterly concentrated in self and entirely devoid of empathy. Which seems to be how his colleagues have found him, everywhere he went. ...

... from the reporter who called me six months back. He told me that Cruz is privately irreligious, that he mocks his Evangelical supporters. ... I have found it sick-making to see pictures of him laying hands on supporters ... "

I wouldn't care if Cruz didn't betray the Pauls, trick Ron, and wasn't holy bible thumping roller, I despise fake Christians more than anything.

This guy is the GOP version of Clinton.
And this guy can't run against Clinton he would be wiped out

I actually thought the more consequential revelation of the past week was Katrina Pierson outing Heidi Cruz as not just a Goldman Sachs flunky, but as a full-out Bush operative. Which could mean, Cruz has been a stalking horse for Jeb this whole time--which explains why the attacks between Cruz and Rubio, and between Bush and Rubio (a more genuine rival for the nomination) were much more sustained and intense.

Cruz was supposed to neutralize Rand and Rubio on behalf of Jeb, but only succeeded with Rand. Bush had to personally go negative on Rubio since his surrogate Cruz had failed, which further degraded Bush. During the battle the Rubio team leaked the story about Cruz's adulteries, which most of the media sat on until the tabloids broke it last week. "Why are Cruz and Rubio attacking each other so much?" the media kept asking. The back and forth between the candidates circa January-February seems clearer now.
