A Running List of Trump's Betrayals

Everyone better start preparing for the Republicans to be absolutely shellacked in the midterms.

How is it that we can take an 18 year old kid who barely graduated high school and the Navy can train him enough to operate a nuclear reactor on a submarine or an aircraft carrier no problem... but we need to import talent because "we don't have it"?

Lol, fuck you man.

If the U.S. born talent is on a submarine then how can he work for Google or Meta?

True story. I think I talked about the fact that during COVID I had some basically homeless teens staying with me. Their parents were sorry. Two families living in one house with (at least) four parents alive and 1 mom who was a CNA but on drugs (per her own kids) and not around most of the time. Anyhow, one of those kids was genius level. (All black). I didn't have the right resources or connections to get him where he needed to be, but he's now in Naval intelligence. According to his brother he's also sniper qualified. He could have been a doctor or engineer or physicist. (Yes he is that smart). When I talk about DEI, that's what I'm talking about. Finding actual qualified people living here in the U.S. but living in the projects or homeless and getting them in the needed positions. But that upsets some people. Oh well.

Extending Obamacare.

It could have been worse. Trump could propose universal govt healthcare for all...

What’s the point of threads like this?

It’s not like anyone is really going to learn anything from them and actually change their approach.

They’ll just go on, as usual, and support the next charlatan that they manage to delude themselves into believing will “move us in the right direction.”

If you voted for Trump, Hell if you voted at all, you got exactly what you asked for.

Own it.

What's the point of constantly saying "I didn't vote, so I am smarter and morally superior to everyone else"?

Good for you. You want a prize or something?

As for this thread, it's a resource.

For someone actually engaging with other people, it's a thread to use as a reference when discussing or debating Trump's actions. It has specific examples that can be used.

Trump is a deal maker he doesn't have enough votes to fund the government without the minority voting for it so if he can get something out of it in the negotiations that he couldn't get otherwise then it will be a better deal.

Most presidents would get nothing they rubber stamp whatever the congress passes.

He does this with everything he makes everything a negotiation because thats how the world he lived in before politics works.

The tarriffs didn't exist and he created them and used them as a negotiation tool with other countries to get the United States better deals.

You mean like the people already lining up behind Ron DeSatanist? (Actually that's an insult to actual Satanists). I'll admit, I do enjoy all of the "I told you so" moments I get from this thread. But yeah, I don't think anybody will really learn. Both sides are captured by identity politics and think "it's just the other side" that's "bad."

For whom? What good does him getting better bribes do me?

I was debating with a Trump supporter on FB who claimed Trump was a "peace president." I pointed out the extra judicial killing off the coast in Venezuela and he said they were all drug dealers. I said "Where's the proof?" and he responded with "I trust Trump." How do even argue with that? Trump supporters on X say Trump praising Mamdani's ideas is just him doing 3D chess.
