If the establishment were given the choice of having us give up on the party completely or having us remain in it, which do you think they'd choose? They'd want us GONE.

The defeatists are giving the establishment exactly what they want. How does that feel?!

The defeatists are doing the job of the powers that be. They want you to disengaged politically and go back to watching Jersey Shore. They're scared that we have begun to shake their apple cart, another few years we'll turn it completely over on them. Stay engaged, don't give in to cynicism, Ron Paul kept up the fight for 30 years facing much worse opposition than we have, I think we owe it to him to carry the torch for years to come.

I don't give a S$%^, I didn't learn this knowledge to defeat my own personal will or give in to defeatism. I will fight all the way til my own personal death. I will give monetarily, personally, and in all ways that I can give. I am resistance to this system, that we know is very powerful but not all powerful. I gain my energy from others that continue to push on, even in such defeatest circumstances, while celebrating each victory however small. We the resistance are winning, and will win in the end even if that means I starve on the streets.

Well you tell us to abandon a party in which we've elected 7 liberty lovers to congress (among other things) and we've got a group of young liberty lovers in the party.

Makes a lot of sense to stop progress when we've had more success now than any other time in history since the Fed was established in 1913

If anyone told us in 2008 we'd have, a minimum, of 7 liberty lovers like Ron in congress, others that lean in his direction in Congress, liberty lovers at high levels of the state GOPs, and the GOP feeling so threatened they'd actually pander to the ideas of a gold standard and auditing the fed, we'd have died laughing in disbelief!

We cannot discredit the immense amount we've accomplished! To give that up now is the definition of insanity!

Ron Paul is a Libertarian who used the GOP as a vehicle to get his message out.

The message is out,..the books have been written,...the GOP has served its purpose and is now an enormous detriment to the cause of liberty.

Political parties don't matter.

Ideology matters.

The ideology of the liberty movement deserves a *much* better home than the reeking, spent carcass of the Republican party.

Maybe it wasn't a good day to start this thread. In case you haven't noticed, no one is feeling much love for the GOP no matter how much y'all keep trying to force a shotgun wedding on us. If you REALLY loved liberty that should go without saying.
