Look at the power of spending a drop in the bucket to take down Newt Gingrich in such a quick amount of time.

What if we create a long term organization that spends money in Iowa, NH, Florida, SC...whatever to discredit the media instead of politicians? The individual politicians aren't the root cause of our problems, the media is.

We create videos all the time on the internet that are AMAZING but we need to avert our attention to the media and get them shown to the people who create momentum and credibility among our politicians. Because apparently even the young and middle aged voters are still getting brainwashed.

We create 30-60 second commercials that display media manipulation, lies...etc. We create a documentary or find one and spread it in Iowa and NH...etc.

Just my 2c

Absolutely!

The campaign needs to start being more innovative in every way.

I agree.

Recently I actually have been working on a plan to achieve some of this.

If you want, I can share my details. My plan actually involves not just being an alternative to the corporate media, but actually creating viable options, involving social media, music, video games, etc. to get a message out.

I really like this idea, but my only question is whether or not the media would run them.......

Yes, and I think the real plan is making absolutely outstanding viral videos to go on the internet.

TV ads are not for anything with depth.

And besides, we have to move people away from the TV and onto the internet.

One more thing. God bless Ron Paul and God Bless America.

My enthusiasm remains undiminished.

Folks, we're changing history. As the proverb says, "Rome wasn't built in one day."
Ultimately our message will triumph BECAUSE WE REPRESENT FREEDOM!!!

The question is this:

You spend 1 million $$ running ads.

How will they spend the $1million you just gave them?
It doesn't cost $1million for them to run ads. They take your $1mil and use it to support Santorum.

Interesting point. Maybe they wouldn't accept the commercials either. I have no idea.

DVD suggestion exposing the media - like Super Brochures

I gave this suggestion weeks ago. As I said, our enemy is not Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Bachmann or any other candidate. It’s the whole establishment: the whole media apparatus, the GOP, the DNC, the FED and the big corporations, the military industrial complex etc.

The vehicle they all use is the media, which is a social engineering apparatus, that deploys all its power not to inform, but to manipulate public opinion. The only way we can defeat our enemies is discrediting the media.

We need very short vídeos the internet, they need to go viral. And, as suggested here, we need a documentary exposing the manipulation of media against Ron Paul, and then linking the media to the American elite. This documentary should as much information as is needed to make a compelling and irrefutable case against media credibility, from MSNBC to FOX, from Rachel Maddow to Rush Limbaugh. And then show why they are so afraid of Ron Paul.

This should be spread by mail. Just like was done with the Super Brochures, we should send a DVD to super voters first, and then to independents.

Another good point in this is that we could explain the real Ron Paul ideas while exposing the distortions of the media. For instance, when they say Ron Paul is left to Barack Obama in Foreign Policy, we could explain his foreign policy better, and then show how it’s based on the Christian Just War Theory, that it’s the only Constitutional foreign policy, that it’s in the tradition of the conservative movement and the GOP etc.

We don’t have to send it to the whole country right away. We can do as the campaign proceeds to the next states. And we should ask for donations from all of those who receive the DVD. Engage the viewer into the campaign and into the battle against media distortion. Appeal to their sense of justice, saying that, even if they disagree with everything Ron Paul says, they should have defend the Idea that it’s despicable for the media to distort everything he says, or call him names etc.

So, what I think is needed to accomplish this?

1) A full script, with a detailed and compelling argument, with a lot of powerfull quotes (for instance, that guy saying that it’s the media job to decide who’s is going to be elected).
2) High quality vídeos to illustrate every point made in the documentary.
3) Show the connection between the media, the military industrial complex, the Power elite of America.
4) Insert counter arguments, explaining the real Ron Paul ideas and how and why the media distorts them.
5) Design a nice argument to make people engage on this and to donate, so more people can see that. Also, tell them to show this to other people.
6) We need a list of supervoters of next states and to see in what states we can still apply this strategy. It’s too late for NH and, maybe, SC. What are the states we have enough time to send the DVDs to supervoters and independents?
7) We need to know how much money we need for each of these states and have a time Schedule to raise it.
8) Of course, put the DVD also in the internet (full and just clips of it, so people can get the ideas in little time).

The point here is this: you don’t need to convince 100% of voters. You do need 10% of voters to become very strong supporters. These 10% can, then, spread the message to 50% of voters (maybe) and a lot of not so strong support. One strong supporter is worth more than 5 or 10 soft supporters, because you know they won’t defect and they can get by themselves those 5 or 10 soft supporters by their own.

The big question is this: WHO WANTS TO ENGAGE IN THIS PROJECT?

Emerick, this is awesome. When someone has this organized, I will donate.
