A hypothetical I've thought about if RP doesn't get the nom...

You would take your hand and cause it to _register a vote_ for the long legged mack daddy GQ cover model and toss this miasmatic load of stinking wishy washy effluvium out here on this celebratory day when Ron is doing quite well. And you regurgitate this flakey idea here as though this is a serious mode of thinking. You are either morally bereft, have not a principle left after the MSM virus has cored out your mental functions and replaced it with their virus, or yer bullshitting and low level trolling. For those in the thread being lead by the nose by the OP op..get a frakkin' grip on yer ass. If yer that easy yer never gonna pass the Earth exam.

Why do these OP types always sound like little schoolyard bitches gossiping behind their "friends" backs when they try this "sneaky" crap......

It's simply a hypothetical. Did you not read my post before going off like a total d-bag? In case you missed it, I said I wrote-in Ron Paul in 2008 based on principle. I was just wondering what other people might do if faced with this decision, because it had crossed my mind. Simple as that. Nothing devious or conspiratorial here.

So next time, I suggest you read people's post in full and at least try to get some sort of intellectual grasp on them, or kindly have a nice tall glass of STFU.

As for everyone else's responses, they've been interesting to read and have made me take things into consideration.

However, at this point, Ron is doing EXTREMELY well compared to where he was this time 4 years ago based on polling and all the rest of it. He does have a serious and legit chance of winning this thing. I don't see Newt lasting much longer. Personally, I think he's gonna get stomped in Iowa, and not do so hot in NH either. I also think Ron's gonna get anywhere between 30-40% in Iowa based on what I've heard, read, and seen.

So NATURALLY, I want and believe that Ron can and will win the nomination. He's the only candidate whose poll numbers increase and never decrease.

My thought... it wont matter what you or I vote unless we convince a statistally relevant percentage. Of the population to do the same.

Also...

NO ONE BUT PAUL!

Stick to your guns! No one but Paul. If everyone does this, he may actually win even as a 3rd party candidate. There are more of us than people realize, and I think the Iowa primary will prove it.

I considered voting for Obama just out of spite if the GOP choosed Romney or Gingrich. If RP doesn't get the nomination I think he should run 3rd party with Nader as VP. Think of the votes we'd pull in from both sides

The media tells me Ron is eyeing a 3rd party run...

Why do people think Gary Johnson is pro liberty?

Well, he's certainly no RP but he's much more pro-liberty than any other candidate running. Most of the issues he's running on are about freedom, and many of his views are similar to Dr. Paul's. I would be curious to hear why you think he isn't though. I haven't heard much negative about him, or many comparisons as to where he differs from Dr. Paul.
