I'm tired of all of the B.S. threads like 'no one but Paul' or 'when are we going to get so and so endorsement'.

STOP flooding the forums with useless discussions (i.e. complaining about Ron's debate performance, if you have an actual critique and care to send that message to the proper advisors, send it directly to the campaign.

DO bump informational threads discussing real strategies to win.
Like this one:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?353487-The-Importance-of-Arizona

and this one:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?352971-Turn-on-the-Charm-and-Turn-Out-The-Vote

And it is extremely sad that I could only find two grassroots strategy (to win) threads on the first page of grassroots central. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

If you aren't working locally to win, you SHOULD be.

Our grassroots is stretched so thin, everybody thinks everybody else will do the legwork, we have all of these 'would be' supporters but the real number of supporters doing the ACTUAL work are VERY little.

If you're not active and organizing for victories on a local level, you're not doing enough.
If you're posting things on facebook and twitter all day, you're not doing enough.
If you're just discussing forum topics, you're not doing enough.

If you're watching the debates and complaining about his debate performance with other people in the internet, guess what!? You're NOT DOING ENOUGH.

Maybe you're the only one in your area and know no other Ron Paul supporters, well set up a table and make some friends! I know a local guy that set up a table for three hours and got 24 people signed up for registration and volunteering.

When TAMPA comes around and Ron loses, NONE of you should be whining about not doing enough because we should be doing ALL THAT WE CAN, RIGHT NOW. And if you're not, YOU SHOULD BE...NO EXCUSES.

Sign up to phone bank or get on the lines now:

Get on your local meetup group and organize/join an event right now...NOW:
www.meetup.com

Meetup groups may appear large in membership but have relatively LOW attendance in recent events, how are we going to win like this?

Don't wait for the campaign to get to you. If you're state is done or won't be up for a long time, do what the campaign is doing..head to the next four caucus states after GOTV @ S.C. and give them your attention in any way possible.

Its up to you to make the difference, do not allow room for 'what if' and 'I should've done this' when Ron doesn't win the GOP nomination. He needs us as much as we need him.

Edit: If you want to bump this thread for more people to see, I only wish you do it with something INFORMATIONAL with LINKS or QUOTES to important things to know.

Trolls will be trolls. And we're not going to get less of them just because we're doing quite well thank you. We'll get even more.

They have a lot of money and power to lose. But we have more to gain. We're out to get our liberty back.

I am a stay-at-home mom in PA so my current ability to do much out of the house is limited. That said, I am trying to find out about ballot access in PA so if anyone knows the ropes or has a link please let me know so I can try to spread the word.

Ron isn't on the PA ballot? I would get in touch with the campaign to receive updates from them regarding PA state.

I signed up as someone from PA but haven't received campaign emails that are focused on the state. I suppose I hadn't considered that he might already be on the ballot. As our primaries are so late I figured we would still be in the access stage. I had better check.

Ok, just contacted the campaign after looking at the primary site. It looks like we have from January 24th-February 14th.

True, maybe they aren't giving PA much thought as of yet.

There hasn't been any issues regarding ballot issues (that I know of) yet for the campaign.

eleganz - you are so right. Your thread really hits the nail right on its head. We have a lot of meaningless chatter about speculation, predictions, etc, and it's all armchair stuff that won't help Ron Paul get actual votes.

I had a thread running about South Carolina events I was compiling and posting on RonPaulCountry.com:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?350466-SOUTH-CAROLINA-***events***-get-involved-NOW!

and that sort of thread is the first to get ignored when THAT is actually THE grassroots central stuff that should be top of the front page material!!

We founded RonPaulCountry.com specifically for the purpose of having a no-nonsense calendar of events in one place and for having a location-based engine to inform people about their local Ron Paul events and critical initiatives... And getting people to register with RonPaulCountry.com has been like PULLING TEETH!

Everyone talks about boots on the ground but not too many actually want to do it. And those who want to do it likely don't need RonPaulCountry.com to get them plugged in, but the rest of the people better catch up to the boots-on-the-ground game quickly, else all we are are a bunch of chatters online that don't accomplish much in real life in terms of getting Ron Paul VOTES, not just FANS.

^^^^

Yes, thank you for your input and I really do appreciate ronpaulcountry.com It is a great tool that too little people use. Almost every RP supporter I know in person has not heard about it.

Maybe because there is too much other misc. CRAP floating around that we can't get to the good stuff.

I have been bottling these feelings in for a while and know I won't change many minds but SOMEBODY has to do it...and not just me or others...we all HAVE to get to work or we're looking at another loss.

BE REALISTIC.

You all have to make your own decisions as I have already made mine.

Do you want to be apart of a gradual MOVEMENT.

Or do you want to MAKE HISTORY NOW by getting Ron Paul ELECTED?

I agree, we gotta get serious about real-life ground work across the nation. From running RonPaulCountry.com, I've joined and monitored quite a few meet-up groups on meetup.com, and it's great to see a lot of buzzing activity in places like Illinois, Indiana, Idaho, California, Washington, and many others.

What I'd like to be able to do with Ron Paul Country eventually is to be able to scrape the meetup.com calendars of all Ron Paul meet-ups across the nation and put them onto one master calendar which would be location-searchable, so people could find events near them. Of course, that would require more development resources that we've got right now, but it's something that would be very useful in moving along the revolution and getting more people plugged in.

Yes, Phone from Home is a very valuable tool, but so is being out and about, waving signs, keeping Ron Paul visible to others, and talking to people. Obviously, we own the internet. But we far from own the ground game nationwide, and that needs a LOT of work, the sooner the better.

So who is ready to win here!?

If we all change our mindset to actually winning rather than chatting, we can change the mentality of this forum into one that is focused on productivity.

This is the most HELPFUL thread I've read since joining about 6 weeks ago (This is the most IMPORTANT thread: Sticky - Delegate information for ALL 50 states! Wondering about your state? look no further!). Time has always been of the essence.

The Establishment and it's dog, the media, are 100% against Dr. Paul. This is not an easy fight...in fact it's not a fight. It's a war, and we are the weaker force (there's no shame in that fact).

I didn't realize the importance of delegates and the whole process. I guess it's always been about delegates.

I've emailed my County Republican Central Committee Chairman for information on how to become a county delegate. I got the contact info from my state's Republican party website (ex. California is http://www.cagop.org/).
