My vote has been counted. And since I know the people who were counting votes in Sutton (have you ever met any of them), I believe that they are better people than you think. Jen Call is a wonderful person whom I would trust with my life.
Besides this, Sutton is one small town. If I were trying to steal an election, I would put my efforts into Concord, or Manchester, Derry, Durham, Portsmouth, or Nashua. I don't think that I'd bother to buy off Sutton!
My vote was not thrown in the trash. It's been counted. I'm not happy about the error in reporting (neither is Jennifer, by the way), but it's been corrected. If they were going for fraud, then they would have destroyed the ballots or faked the tally sheet, not just copied the number incorrectly.
The assumption that this is fraud is to assume that the people trying to steal the election are so stupid as to rob their own bank and deposit the cash into their own accounts, if we're going to play the analogy game.
My point is this:
This call for a march on Concord is based on the assumption that there was corruption. What happens if the recount proves otherwise? Do we really want to look that stupid?
Why not wait for the recount? If it turns out that the results were wrong, then let's rise up. I'll join the march at that point. There is nothing wrong with waiting for facts.
Congressman Paul knows what he's doing, and he hasn't joined this fight. I trust him.
