A bit of cautious optimism about Rand's chances

yeap, WHAT ARE THEY WAITING ON!

I have no idea...

illegal immigration - not a word
Abortion - not a word

There was already a list about all the things they are NOT focusing on, and still..... chirp chirp chirp.

And the 2nd amendment, and not enough about cap and trade. There is so much to hammer Jack on, but for some reason it is only about Obamacare, and "Obama's agenda", and not enough about Jack's views.

I imagine they are saving the bulk of their money for the last 5 days or so. As much as I would like to see an abortion ad I don't think we are gonna see one from Rand himself. Dr. Paul's biggest weakness in the Polls is the women vote and I don't think he wants to risk anything personally on that front. Hopefully we do see an amnesty ad at some point because even most democrats in Kentucky that I know are not for it. The NRC is definitely hammering him on Cap and Trade right now. I see that commercial quite a bit in lexington and I can only imagine its even more saturated in the coal mining regions of ky.

Honestly, though, they have the data. They know what issues are most important in Kentucky right now. IMO it is Jobs and the economy. Obama is so unpopular in Kentucky they will most likely keep hammering Conway on his links to Obama and how it will affect Kentucky, and as long as the tracking polls indicate a backlash on Conway's scumbag nature Rand will no doubt keep hammering on this. Hopefully rand gets in some positive issue ads asap to show his economic positions. This race is so negative right now many independents and undecided voters, who don't like negative attacks, might find the change of pace welcoming.

You may be right. It may just be that their tracking polls show that Conway's attack on the Fair Tax isn't actually hurting Rand in the polls. I hope that is the case. Maybe it's just so over the top that nobody believes it.

Rand Paul is an anarchist!...that wants to raise your taxes? Wait what?

These were the same guys who kept saying that Ron Paul would be President in 2008

More accurate would be Nate Silver's forecast model, which currently gives Rand Paul an 89.2% chance of winning and Conway a 10.8% chance of winning.

http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/forecasts/senate/kentucky

The last update (showing the numbers above) was on October 23rd. That's a slight improvement from their October 21st model which gave Paul an 88.9% chance of victory.

Rand's success will depend on our efforts.

Have you volunteered to make calls on Rand's behalf?

Are you coming to KY to go door-to-door for Rand?

It's in our hands!!
