I am not a 9/11 truther but...

The 9/11 truther question was obviously biased but in particular fox asked RP
Carl: "Would you ask them to cease that rhetoric tonight..."

I Liked RP's response, though I would have liked it more if he would have said something along the lines of

"I believe in the 1st amendment right to the freedom of speech, so they can say what they want, though I don't agree with or endorse what they say"

edit: I think Dr. Paul has made it clear time and again that he doesn't subscribe to the conspiracy theories. He has also said many times that the government should be protecting individuals privacy rights and NOT covering up government secrets.

I'm a big time truther... I'm gonna tell ya, Paul can disagree all he wants about 9/11 and that's fine. I just want him as prez because he's not controlled by special interests and is honest + no income tax.

I'm not a 911 truther, but i can respect other's desire for more investigations. Its clear there wasn't transparency, to what extent is unknown. Obviously neocons made use of it, by design or not, and thats the first issue we gotta fix.

Even if we never know what happened on 9/11, the point of exposing 9/11 isn't for an ego boost or to say 'i told you so', like most people seem to think. The point is to wake people up so it doesn't happen again.

Electing Ron Paul would achieve that goal, even if 9/11 isn't investigated.

Truthers understand this very well. We're not the ones that make inflamatory comments and create division.

I don't care if you support 9/11 truth or not, so stop trying to alienate me.

I believe Dr. Paul holds the same position I hold. It's not that the US gov't was complicit in 911, but that the US gov't was inept.

I do understand where the Truthers are coming from. I looked at a lot of the stuff that's out there. It took me maybe 2 years to make up my mind.

I came to the conclusion that 911 was pretty much what 'they' said it was; a terrorist attack by Muslim extremists. There's certain things I'd be willing to take another look at, but that's for a RP Administration, not for right now. Right now is for getting a RP Administration...then we can worry about other stuff.

I have also come to the conclusion that government incompetence is actually scarier than the idea that it was an inside job.

What worries me is the MSM is trying to paint RP & us supporters as nutjobs. If a Truther shows up at some undecided's door, and starts going into Truther stuff, that undecided is going to go, "yep, those guys are nuts" and we'll never get that guys vote.

Yes, as many of us do want the same thing. But, please, if you know the wearechange people or active 911 truthers, talk to each other and call off the dogs. We have to get him in, and as he said, bringing this up doesn't do any good, so if you care about him you will leave it alone. Help Dr. Paul by being respectful of his wishes. 911 truth time will come in due time, if we can spread the messages of Ron Paul, and awaken enough people to actually think! This is the problem with 911 truth, and the message not resounding with the people. Americans are dumb-downed, guys! They only live for instant gratification for the most part from TV, sports functions, XBox, WII, Ipods, etc., Many who can actually think are so busy working two jobs to survive that they only have time for quick sound bites which are delivered from places like Faux News. We have to awaken their minds to even begin to understand the most beginning of ideas such as liberty, peace and foreign policy. If they do not get this, they cannot get 911. It is a huge disconnect. Help us connect the dots...
