8/6 First GOP Debate thread (links)

The streams are getting heavy traffic. I might have to turn on the TV. The one I'm on now has 614,000 views.

They obviously want us not to see the debate, but only their Reader's Digest Condensed Version of the debate.

Fox is notorious for blocking access to their channel unless it is approved by them; I think it is MONEY...not some secret conspiracy.

Then why does neither the local Fox television nor radio stations' websites contain any information at all on how to view or listen to it?

No, I think they're much more interested in making their sponsors happy--by flushing part of what's going to happen down the Memory Hole and announcing the winner before most people see any of it. Your theory doesn't fit all the facts. No one who actually wants to sell something makes it this hard to pay for.

It's the effing Secret Debate. None of the articles I can find on the subject says if or where it will be on local radio. I just plugged the word 'debate' in the local Fox affiliate's own official website and it came up zero results found. I'm talking both the television and the radio affiliates. Pay Fox and jump through a dozen hoops or don't watch.

They obviously want us not to see the debate, but only their Reader's Digest Condensed Version of the debate. And they want to tell us who won before we see any of it. Why hold a debate and then let no one see it? The Fox television affiliate operates six channels in this market. They can't broadcast the debate on any of them?

The secret debate. Will they be yanking down the youtubes, too?

yep... none of the streams are working for me. So, a major debate for the president of the United States is not even available for the average citizen to watch. How sick is that?

It's on the radio, if the old folks who have been watching them on TV for sixty years can remember to think of it. But they obviously don't want the old folks hearing the unedited version.
