3D animated spot FINISHED!!!! View here!!

Hmm... are you sure? It would be much more effective if they played it after they dimmed the lights.

edit: I think you will be able to buy time after the lights dim... audiences may not usually like ads, but I think yours is captivating and inspiring...
this seems to suggest it happens: http://www.commercialalert.org/news/Archive/2003/01/commercials-steal-show-at-movie-theaters

Honestly, I haven't been to the theater in the last year, but when I last went, I do remember seeing ads mixed in with the coming attractions

You are correct, and like I said, that's totally a different kind of thing. Ads run by Pepsi, etc, which are shown after the light go down, are 35mm surround sound film prints run through the projector. The cost of transferring our promo to 35mm film would be very expensive, and you would need a physical print for each theater. Then there is the cost of playing it.

I guess there is a slight chance some theaters could use a DVD or some form of digital movie file instead of a film print.

I'll look into it and report what I find out.

Well I still think it would do very well in a theatre setting. The opening thrunder roll, makes it look like a new movie coming out. At first everyone will be like, in a trance watching the preview for a new movie. Then it turns into a great common sense piece by the animated Ron Paul. I really think this could have a huge impact in movie theatres

Any news yet AdamT?

Movie ads are considerably cheaper now, Adam. I can't remember the company, but I was quoted something like $10,000 for a 2 week run over a large regional area. Seemed quite reasonable considering the captive audience.

I hate this virtual stuff because they have no human spirit in them. And only God can give that spirit. Might as well be zombies.

I prefer not to use the "H" word as you do... can't see how my God of Love could hold such a spirit...

.

Such an excellent job! I was amazed and intrigued, I have watched it over and over-I love it! I tell everyone about Ron Paul, and have to mention High Tide-absolutely fabulous work! I can hardly wait to hear of the reactions when it is aired.

I'm looking for the HD theater quality version of this video. We are trying to get an ad spot for the I.O.U.S.A. previews in the Rhode Island Screening.

why'd they take down the youtube video?!

ps:

holy f* what a great piece of work.
