3 states sending 700 National Guard troops to DC

If people got exactly what they deserved, the National Guard wouldn't be needed there.
.

If we’re being brutally honest, the National Guard isn’t needed there. All that's really needed is for government to get out of the way and leave decent people alone to protect themselves and their property.

The odds of that actually happening, however, are admittedly slim.

By them, do you mean that someone who believes individuals who violate property Rights should be held accountable for their behavior? Someone who is tired of progs making excuses for criminals? Then yes, I am one of them.

Keep listening to Faux "newz". It's evident that you don't read/listen to Mises.org/Ron Paul enough, if even at all.

I agree...for the able-bodied. I guess fuck the people who can't defend themselves. Losers.

Is that a prerequisite for something? Are we still doing purity tests? Huh. Let me check on the status of the LP.....

I'll clue you in on something that you are probable already aware: Any time I hear "purity test", they are either STATISTS, or the ones attempting to REDEFINE libertarianism [Peter Thiel/Alex Karp types] - or BOTH, or ONE AND THE SAME.

If you're physically incapable of operating a firearm you should probably just call up Dr Kavorkian and ask for his services

So what's the plan, PAF? Complaining on an irrelevant forum infested by bots and paid shills?

Have an ACTUAL criminal justice system?

Try the 2nd Amendment. If they don't want it, it's on them. And if they don't want it, I shouldn't have to pay for or sacrifice my liberty for them.

What? Able-bodied people are somehow suddenly completely incapable of helping those less fortunate VOLUNTARILY?

Those “people who can’t defend themselves” don’t have any family or friends to help them out?

Please spare me the bleeding heart excuses. People, even the disabled are not poor helpless victims who are doomed without the “magnanimous assistance” of the state.

Yah dude. When your car is stolen, or your house burglarized when you're not there, whip out your glock and start shooting in the air.

We have neighborhood watch in my neck of the area and many of us are armed. Little to no crime. We don't rely on socialist government "solutions" to "take care of us".

You should run for mayor of NY, Curtis.

Had my car stolen, two separate times. I even knew exactly who took it one time. Guess how many times the authorities recovered them?.

Had a buddy who had his checkbook stolen from his car. Thieves were going around town forging his checks, he actually managed to talk one of the banks into giving him a copy of their security footage of the thieves in the act of forging one of his checks. Went to the cops with it. They wouldn’t do anything.

So yeah, that whole criminal Justice system thing is just frickin’ awesome.

Spare me.

So you guys handled it yourselves?

Why?

Do I make too much common sense that you can't either dispute it, or simply agree that is a viable cost effective/liberty oriented solution?

Do you feel that if a person or group of people choose to not embrace the 2nd A that you and society should somehow be responsible for them, and force me to be responsible too, by way of taxation, growth of government and the sacrifice of liberty [ie: socialism]?

C'mon, man. 2A doesn't solve every problem. You can't be around your kids 24/7, or your elderly. All I ask is that if someone is arrested for violent crime, they're not given cashless bail and out on the streets.

That's up to the local community [D.C. in this case] to figure out. Why should I, many miles away, have to bear the burden of their local decisions/problems?

It's up to them whether they want to defend and protect themselves, or bear the brunt of crime, and/or hand out whatever cashless bail they choose to do.

It ain't my problem. It's theirs. And the sooner we stop coddling them, perhaps they will figure it out sooner rather than later.

But, keep sending other states National Guards, on the states tax payers dime, to keep "helping" them out  Government and the police state love you for that. And the people who live there will gladly soak you for all of the help that you give them [enabling the socialists].
