MONTANA Republican County Committee CAUCUSES
Tuesday 5 February 2008

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/MT-R.phtml * Approximately 2,262 Republicans in leadership positions are eligible to vote in today's caucuses. The list includes voting members of the State Executive Committee, elected County Central Committee officers, elected or appointed Precinct Men and Women, incumbent Republican members of the Montana House of Representatives and Montana State Senate, incumbent Republican members of the PSC, and incumbent Republican officeholders in county, state, and Federal offices.

All 25 of Montana's delegates to the National Convention are bound to the candidate receiving the most votes statewide in today's caucus.

The delegates are bound to vote for the Caucus winner on the first ballot at the Republican National Convention. The winning candidate is allowed to release the delegates to a different candidate.

I just got back from my caucus in Madison County. Total was Paul 20 and Romney 3. The Romney people all said they liked paul but liked Romney better because he is a washington outsider and would bring around "Change", what ever that means. I offically nominate "Change" as the most overused work of this election year.

Madison County with 87% of the vote for Ron Paul!

YOU ALL ARE SO AWESOME!! GREAT JOB!

(sorry for the caps)

Sorry but what does this matter if we didn't get any delegates? It clearly doesn't mean that we have more support nationally, because we clearly don't. So, please, enlighten me whats so great about this?
