I think people don't realize the tea party is supposed to be on central time and are donating early. I guess if you are on the east coast it is already the 16th, but for the sake of the daily total they use central time.

It says it goes by eastern time.

Its better that the Ron Paul campaign goes by Eastern Time as it allows more time for The West and onwards to organize. There is no advantage to central.

Nah, the Paul campaign used Eastern time when reporting the Nov 5th totals I believe...anyways, I was reading that this was supposed to be from 12-12 eastern. Regardless, since it is starting now, it has to either end at 12 eastern, or it can end at whatever time would make for better stats. On Nov 5th the donation rate after midnight at the end of the day was really high, although the day started out slow...anyways, it will work itself out.
