Does anyone remember Zach Wamp, former Congressman from TN-3 district? He is Weston's father and he regularly attended Liberty Caucus events. From Wikipedia: "Wamp served on the Liberty Caucus (sometimes called the Liberty Committee), a Republican group that focuses on reducing the size of the US Government. Congressman Ron Paul hosts a luncheon for the Liberty Caucus every Thursday."
Check out this guys statement on National Security!!! From his website:
"The greatness of the America is not better exemplified than through the men and women in the uniform of the United States armed forces.
Priority one is to honor the commitments made to them while they are in harms way and when they return home. The U.S. Military is the finest “command and control” organization in the history of the world and they deserve our unending support.
Today though our troops are over deployed and spread too thin. We cannot and should not be the world’s police force or engage in “nation building.”
When attacked, we should respond with fierce and decisive force but in order to do this in the future we must finish our work in Afghanistan and bring our combat troops home.
With threats to freedom coming from all around the world, we must focus on a “peace through strength” strategy and resist the urge to involve US troops in conflicts abroad unless deemed necessary by Congress"
This dude speaks with conviction and is AWESOME!!!
