2007 crew - this is your moment.

My eyes just welled up reading this. It's been a long journey and worth it every step of the way. All those hours of sign waving, being ignored, and hung up on, doors slammed in your face, dashed hopes, being ridiculed in the media. I feel like the tides are turning, America is waking up!

I feel the same way! I'm from the class of '07 as well. Remember when we were considered a bunch of basement dwellers spamming online polls back then? LOL! As a precinct captain I had signs stolen and taken down by McCain supporters as well as security guards sent out to visit me outside the polling place because they were told I was causing trouble! LOL. Yeah, they hated to see all my Ron Paul signs and balloons because they didn't have anybody out there as excited about their own candidate.

I feel really proud being part of history and despite our dissapointment back then, I remember reading that while Ron Paul may have lost the battle in '08, he secretly won the war! Because here we are again fighting the good fight and now the message is really spreading!

That famous Gandhi quote is proving to be spot on:

First they ignore you
Then they laugh at of you
Then they fight you
Then you WIN!!

I'd say we are in the fight phase now so winning is not too far behind! I love Ron Paul people! When you meet a stranger with a Ron Paul bumber sticker you can't help but get a smile on your face and feel like you're both part of a very special club! Like a fraternity or a soroity. But I guess in our case it would be a fra-soroity. :D

We might have been the Remnant then, but the Great Awakening has occurred and soon, if not already, the paradigm will shift and what was controversial and conspiratorial will suddenly become conventional wisdom and common sense.

AGREED! And get this... for all the apocalyptic predictions for the year 2012 thanks to the Mayan calender, the Engish translation of Apocalypse actually means:

(Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apokálypsis; "lifting of the veil" or "revelation") is a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominatedby falsehood and misconception, i.e. the veil to be lifted. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse

Perhaps we are all playing a role in history greater than we've ever imagined.

New sprout reporting to say thanks! Rock on, keep the pressure on. That is all.
/off to seed more myself

Gotta toot!

Who's Laughing Now?

Thank you 2007 and earliers. While new to these forums, I've been on the Liberty Train for about a year now. It's people like you who've converted me and continue to convert others. We are winning and are closing in on critical mass and could not have done it without your incredible perseverance.

Thank you 2011 and laters. You give those of us who started earlier hope that this is still a growing movement.

The seeds were planted in 1776.

Yes!

I owe my awakening to a professor who died of a brain tumor in 2006. He taught Austrian Economics at Northwood University, I will never ever forget him. For years I never knew what to do with the information til I found out about Ron Paul late in 06' reading online, and then this forum somehow. The torch is burning brighter than ever, but I know we are going to soon reclaim our liberty... It's happening and it's coming.

Good to see because of what we did in 07 and 08 is finally starting to show today in a big way, its a great feeling! Go Ron!

You planted the seeds. Today, we are seeing the fruits of your labors. I am in awe still at the sacrifices that some of you made back then to spread the message of liberty. And this is the only the beginning - the first sprouts of the new trees of liberty that are springing up everywhere. This is simply amazing! Thank you for not giving up when the odds were much worse than they are today! God bless each of you, and God bless and Dr Paul!

FOR LIBERTY!!!!!!!!

Meetup #39 organizer here. I can't believe we are were we are.

yea been a long time coming...never really thought I would see a day like this anytime soon, but it's happening. Very happy to say the least.

Thank you for the support--y'all are amazing, especially with the phone from home program.

Don't forget--winning states is only the beginning, DELEGATES are next. Stay strong those of you who are volunteering in this regard. I know I will.

I wasn't aware of a lot of things before '07. :(

“We, as a group, now have a greater moral responsibility to act than those who live in ignorance, once you become knowledgeable you have an obligation to do something about it.” Ron Paul

My thanks to everyone and their support.:)

One thing I forgot to mention about the difference 07 to now, for me, is the fact that I now have two grown children of VOTING Age who are in separate colleges and are DIE HARD Ron Paul supporters :) The fact that they were raised in an environment that encouraged self-expression and hard work means that this isn't just a passing phase. This is a lifestyle. Freedom is for everyone, but the ones who practice freedom, and defend it locally, have a special right to it. This is something a liberal progressive will never be able to grasp until they've experienced it themselves.

Spread the fever, talk to people, tell them what freedom has done and means to you. Tolerate their blindness and set the example. They eventually come around :)
