Surprisingly, WND is spreading some truth about the race.

http://www.wnd.com/2012/02/20-of-republicans-leaning-to-obama/

In every case except the match-up against Ron Paul, more than 20 percent of Republican voters said they are more likely to support Obama than the Republican challenger.

Obama would defeat all of the four Republicans if the election were held today, but Ron Paul fares the best against the incumbent. Obama leads Paul, 44 percent to 40 percent, with 16 percent undecided.

And Ron Paul is close, as 19 percent of Republicans said they are more likely to support Obama than Paul.

Still relevant to include that 19 percent said they would do the same if Paul was the nominee.

Paul would easily win the general election. The media cant ignore him then. If half the country knew what RP was all about, they would never vote for anyone else again.

Except Rand of course after 8 years of Ron ;)

Why would 20 percent of republicans support Obama over Romney? I don't get that at all. Sure, Romney is nothing amazing and won't change things much if at all, but surely coming from a mainstream republican perspective he's much better than Obama?

in my opinion, romney is no different than obama if not worst

People are idiots. But they should also report that a higher than normal number of Dems will support the GOP nominee.

So they get a good choice i.e Rand Paul in 2016.

20% go to Obummer if either Mitt, newt or santorum gets GOP nomination

19% go to Obummer if RP gets GOP nomination

“This is likely a reflection of discontent over Obama’s handling of the economy and, in particular, his outsized appetite for deficit spending,” observed Wenzel. “Paul has far and away offered the clearest and most serious plan to cut federal spending, and it appears to be recognized by these survey respondents.”

This is far and away the best part of the article.
