1993 Video, Perot vs Gore on NAFTA

Just how the hell did Al Gore win a Nobel Prize? Has it suddenly turned into a prize for the most politically able to convince people to accept a lie?

Seems like it should be not about convincing people to accept a lie, but rather just telling the truth. Looks to me like Ross Perot should really have won a Nobel Prize.

It's really funny how democrats talk so much about their hate for jobs exporting, and rightfully so, yet they always fail to place the blame where it belongs.

I could send these videos to all of my liberal friends and they'll always come up with some way to defend the actions of the democrat pussies that were in power who supported this crap.

yup i must have watched those videos a number of time, Perot was partially right though, a significant jobs did go to Mexico but more went to Asia thats for sure, Mexico cant compete with low wages with some of the Asian states.

well, the point being, we had crappy trade agreements with every nation on the planet. Furthermore, Perot's idea of a social tariff would have solved the problem of countries pegging their currencies to our to maintain their exports.

That is exactly the reason they make it nearly impossible to get indies or 3rd parties into the debates. Perot spoke truth while the pandering hack Gore spoke the usual politician BS. And the American people recognize truth when they see it.

No real debate is allowed anymore. None.

what's really insulting is that Perot flat out said that corporations can't wait for this to pass so they can take their manufacturing out of the US. Gore's entire argument was Perot was trying to make more money for himself.
