$17.76 Donation for Glen Bradley(GunnyFreedom) Thread for State Rep. N.C.

State

IMHO, the greatest hope for the future of liberty is in the collapse of the Federal government and the rise of the States - either through secession or a return to the original Constitutional compact. Either scenario depends on having patriots in position to influence events on the State level when the time comes. In light of this, I consider Gunny's effort to be of the highest importance.

I think our one real chance of restoring Constitutional government is to start at the state level and work up.

For anyone who is dismissing Gunny's run in North Carolina as being irrelevant because YOU happen to live in another state, consider this: Once Glen starts taking action in office and getting some stuff done, we (in each of our states) can start grabbing our state reps and saying, "Look! LOOK! See what Bradley's doing in North Carolina. If he can get it done there, we can do it here too!" Our state reps will have no excuse to blow us off we can demonstrate that other states are working to roll back Federal excess and are restoring Constitutional government.

It has to start somewhere, and I'm really hoping that starting point is going to be Glen Bradley in North Carolina.

This^

You can already see this happening with the States enacting laws nullifying Obamacare and challenging Federal jurisdiction over intra-state firearms transactions. One state starts the ball rolling and others follow. Whether you agree with Arizona's immigration law or not, the fact that several other states are following the same path is really a morale booster for Arizona AND undermines the Federal position.

There is the potential for a real snowball effect when multiple states start challenging Federal power. The Federal government can't fight us all! But somebody must start the ball rolling at the state level.

This is our very near term future US House Rep., who is running right now setting the path in the wilderness.. It's a lone path, that is paved with liberty and gold flakes.

A small investment is the seed....

Think about it, write it down, this is what we gather in here for. We aren't waiting for others to write our future, we choose to write it down ourselves.

$17.76 does just that.

Glen Bradley is running for state house rep. of NC.

Donate $17.76 to secure his lead of 8 points

I will not be drinking alcohol (...after I finish these last 12 beers tonight) until this goal for Bradley is met.

-- For those who dislike me while drunk, you'll really dislike me when I'm sober.

If we can gather up a total of 5 contributors....... to get us over the first hump of 33 total donations....

Then count me in!

If there aren't 3 more donations within 6 minutes, I'm going to start drinking again.

This clearly is not a violation of my word, just a modification of the contract -- and I gave 6 minutes' notice, so........

a couple points....

- Rifleman isn't eating
- I'm drinking lite beer
- Kludge isn't drinking
- Glen Bradley is running for state rep of NC

... how many times do these points need to be put across?

edit: we can continue this conversation on civil terms if we so choose, but by continuing the argument on who is Glen Bradley or why or why not Kludge may or may not be drinking becomes rather pointless. There are far more important issues to be raised. Just my opinion.

4 more donations and we have made a significant size snowball that could roll on through

For me, RPFs has become increasingly useless as a tool for constructive collaboration in restoring our constitutional republic. The poor response to this thread is merely one example. Are other venues more constructive, e.g. the Daily Paul?

Yeah I'm open to other avenues... not sure myself

You make a point, I hope people step up and prove it wrong. I am not going anywhere I know there are people ready to push in here. The time to push is now, there is only 1 2010, this opportunity presents itself, and what we do with it has meaning.

4 others?

Each action I know creates another reaction. Know that people. PUSH
