12/20 Daily Gallup National Poll: Ron Paul 12%

Ya but they might be keeping us from going up faster. Thats why we need to get the message out.

No, Gallup is also a "leftleaning" poll, in fact all polls other than a fox news poll conducted by Frank Luntz are "left leaning". If he wins the fox poll ...well it just doesn't count.

No it was just hacked by guys in their mothers basement.

We just started hitting 10 a few days ago and now at 12. We're at 12.4 on RCP average. Very good progress. Go up 5-6 more and we will be close to Romney

On this day 4 years ago John McCain was at 14.6%. Kind of a different scenario though, he was in 4th. The field was a little more level between the top 4 candidates.

Anyone have any data breakdown of 2nd choices for Perry and Bachmann voters?

Someone should draw a cartoon of the talking heads reporting that Ron Paul has no chance. In the next scene the statue of liberty is watching the broadcast and holding a Ron Paul mask at her side while thinking: "they have no ideal..."

Man, what is the MSM going to do? Our ceiling just keeps getting rasied :D

RP support ceiling going to go up as many times as RP has voted against raising the US Debt Ceiling... :D

can you really get 340% support? :p

Nice, I think the smears are having the opposite effect. Grinch down, Ron up, mittens the same is great. If this trend keeps up, they could all equal out nationally within the margin going into IA/NH.

Hooray! I respect my fellow Americans more and more by the day. Maybe we really will have liberty at last!

Huckabee got ~5% national bump in the week after he won the Iowa caucuses last time, even though he had slim chances of winning the nomination. If we win the caucuses, I would expect it to affect Paul similarly, as he may start polling in high teens and low twenties. That should also translate into a high single digits boost in New Hampshire, putting us very close to puncturing Romney's lead. Of course, this all depends on winning on January 3, preferably by a larger margin than polls would suggest.
