You just need their name. The tickets have to be picked up at the C4L booth at the conference.
They will have a list. When you purchase the tickets, you give them the names of the people the tickets are for....

in fact, those people who said they wanted to sponsor someone can buy the ticket easily on behalf of someone else. just tell them how many tickets you are buying and who they are for.
for $120 you can get 4 tickets.

when i bought mine, i bought two. I gave them the names, they gave me a call back number incase the person changes.

Thanks for the bump, but still no takers.

:( This distresses me. What is the problem here? There has been a significant lack of activity in this sub-forum since the initial flurry of the first day or so. Are we doing ourselves a disservice by hiding here? I understand the need to not tip our hand, but somehow, somewhere, we need to pump up the volume.

I'm not distressed just yet. After all, how much activity was there on the forums about CPAC during the month leading up to it?

I don't think the lack of activity is because we're hiding our plans in this members-only sub-forum either. I've been posting the link to http://battleofneworleans2010.com/ in quite a few places besides this forum and beside Liberty Forest, and the counter is still in single digits.

I am VERY interested in this but need to make sure I can attend before I take you up on the offer. I'm a college student with two jobs and two kids, so a free ticket would make a difference in me being able to go, but I don't want a ticket bought for me until I'm sure I can work out the time off from my jobs, transportation, and lodging. Hope I don't miss out!

I'd take you up on it but im not sure i will be able to get there as of yet but im hoping ill be able to

A roundtrip bus ticket from Tampa to 10 blocks from this event is 151 bucks. I can't drive but I am sure its a 3 gallon trip. So if I could drive I would, but for those that wanna go, but have no car or license bus is the cheapest way I can see. Looks like the airlines for N.O. are already booking up cause even 1 month lead time and rates are 300 bucks with layovers.

Anyways, just thought I'd throw that info out. As soon as I can work out where I am staying I will start booking.

I have always wanted to go to N.O. for more than just a night pass thru.

rp08orBust,

Wow an incredible act for liberty.

Our YAL group here at LSU is interested in attending and ticket prices have been the main complaints. I just sent out a message to our people asking who wants to go, so I'll get back to you ASAP. I wouldn't be surprised if I could give you 10+ names tomorrow, haha.

I'd like to get two tickets but only if I know the gas $ will be there too.

I plan to attend with my wife and I checked the SLRC website where the tickets are $120. How does one get the discounted tickets? I don't mind paying my own way but that seems a bit steep. I don't need the free tickets and prefer leaving that offer to others who need the assistance.

So where does one go to get the discounted tickets?

Thanks

You have to get a phone call from C4L. I saw torchbearer post that you can PM him your phone number and he will get them to call you. If you are a C4L member, you will get a call automatically.

You can buy tickets over the phone from Carolyn Moffa at C4L on (703) 865-7162.
