10 Free Tickets to SRLC Available!!!

There is, however, as of Thursday 4/25: Suzu's SRLC Fund is now COMPLETE!!!! :D

Super cool :) I donated extensively to the guys' hotel room mentioned in other threads. If you don't have a place to stay, you should check it out :D

I saw dailypaul had a link to get tickets from C4L.

This could end in disaster a other campaigns buy them through c4l.

How did Payl get so many CPACers yet now he can't seem to give tickets away for this.Serious q.

I doubt that others will buy tickets through campaignforliberty because the others don't have a grassroots base like we do. Most of the others are backed by the old greysuits who don't even know what the "internets" is...

:D

I could use a floor space for Saturday night. Doesn't have to be in a hotel if some RPFs member in NOLA will let me visit. I was planning to camp out but would have to drive way out of town to get to a quiet place.

Space in the hotel is available if you want it. If you decide to go with the hotel, PM me.

Okay. I am seriously thinking about this. I have enough points at Amtrak for a one-way Milwaukee to New Orleans. It would be coach, overnight, but I can rough it. I'd also have to crash at nf7mate's. Broke --> taxes. I don't want to wear a suit and look like a neocon douche... is that acceptable? Like a good shirt and pants? I am going to mull it over until morning.

Maybe I'll look around here and see if there is any carpool action coming from my direction.

according to the attire in the faqs section of the event, the most casual attire allowed is business casual.

That might be a problem if people don't realize it. heh

If you roll your "business casual" clothes, they won't wrinkle (good to know). Roll them around your nicer shoes, with the appropriate change of socks inside (put the shoes in a plastic bag or similar), and stuff a dryer sheet into the mix to keep things smelling fresh. You wouldn't exactly want to be wearing the same stuff you travel in, anyhow.

Thanks for the tips. I travel pretty well, but its good to have a reminder! How about starting up a SRLC travel do's and don't for other pertinent tips for socializing with "the elite"! Serious! I would have never thought of the dryer sheet!

I will not shave my revolution beard or cut my revolution hair, I have to rely on my blue eyes and conjure up my southern drawl to distinguish me from al queda I suppose.

Dryer sheets are underrated. They (and their residue, to some extent) fend off mosquitos. That's a heck of a bonus in Louisiana ;)
