It's pretty easy to record skype phone calls. Just plug in a microphone, or headphones into the microphone plug(they work as a microphone on a computer), to talk into. Your computer speakers is where you'll hear the other line. Hold the mic(or headphones) up to the speaker when recording so you record both your words and theirs. Save the mp3 then host it.

Skype is really easy to learn. Download it and they let you make a free test call.

Do you have any kind of stereo headphones? Test to see if you can record your voice using them. Plug them into the mic jack on the back of your computer and use the mymp3 software I link to. Your speakers can work to hear the other line.

Right now I don't have headphones - but I will
ask my brother for his headset tomorrow when
I will be with my family on new years eve...

If they say they might record your conversation with a rep, then you have the right to record also. I might be young, but I study a lot of laws online. Invasion of Privacy- In most states you are allowed to record a conversation which is implied as public. Over the phone, you have the right if they say they might record, they automatically agree to being recorded.

So do you know for sure that FOX is recording all
call-ins as well?

(There has to be a disclaimer while you call them)

Could someone confirm that they called yet?

(Anger-mongerers such as the menthol ones, for example)

If you intend to record, I believe federal law requires that you inform whoever you talk to that the call may be recorded.

Though I don't imagine you'll get into any trouble.

That is absolutely correct, I don't mess around with that stuff. It is against the law to record anyone by phone, unless you say in the beginning "Just to let you know I am recording this call, is that agreeable?" You have to get them to agree / consent to go on-record.

Ask if it is being recorded -- or if you hear the warning -- then that should allow you to turn on your recorder? That's interesting.

You sound like an idiot. Fox is not hosting a debate, they're hosting a forum. And the person you're talking to may not be connected to the people who make these decisions.
I know I came across as intelligent and well informed. And there was nobody to connect to who makes those decisions on the holiday. However, there are two more people aware of Ron Paul's exclusion from the forum or debate or whatever the hell you want to call it. Calling it a debate doesn't make you sound any smarter. Nor do I have to avoid sounding like an idiot to make my points across effectively.

Look, there is plenty of evidence.

Every media outlet in the universe except Fox has confirmed this is true. If you are waiting to hear it from Fox, you may be waiting until Sunday evening.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Date: December 31, 2007

Contact: Fergus Cullen, Chairman, New Hampshire Republican Party

NH REPUBLICANS: DON’T LIMIT DEBATE PARTICIPANTS

CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding primary weekend debates:

“Limiting the number of candidates who are invited to participate in debates is not consistent with the tradition of the first in the nation primary. The level playing field requires that all candidates be given an equal opportunity to participate – not just a select few determined by the media prior to any votes being cast.”

“Therefore, the New Hampshire Republican Party calls upon all media organizations planning pre-primary debates or forums for both parties to include all recognized major candidates in their events.”

“The New Hampshire Republican Party has notified FOX News of our position, and we are in ongoing discussions with FOX News about having as many candidates as possible participate in the forum scheduled for January 6.”
