The fact is that neither of them were capable of beating Obama. The race was run. Dr. Paul lost in the finals, and Romney lost in the championship game. 2016 will be interesting. It may be too late. Depending on which projection you believe, we will be between 18 and 23 trillion in debt...

Now, lets think back a while, back to Ross Perot and Clinton. How much homage did Bill pay to The Perot supporters. None. Obama is bad for liberty. This is not a good thing. No one group screwed up in isolation, but it's all fucked up now. See ya at the FEMA camps.

A ham sandwich would have crushed Obama in this debate. I'm sad Ron didn't make it, and that GJ won't either, but Obama needs to go back to chicago, hawaii or wherever.

He's earned his retirement. Paul didn't do too well in the Texas Primary, and it would take more than the Governor to secede. It's time we started living in reality.

If you escalate it to the point that you strike someone, you had better be prepared to be struck back, maybe even by more than one person. I'm hoping that if you are planning on actually taking this course of action, that you conceal any attachment you have to the liberty movement.

There are some other issues out there. I think GJ/JG deserve our support. Paul should be promised a high level cabinet position, and endorse them. It is really the best chance we have. I've had enough dreams shattered to start considering reality as an alternative.

It's time to pack it in and start working for the congressional candidates and the Libertarian Party. Dr Paul can't run third party. The deadlines for getting on the ticket are long gone for many states, and most of the rest have "sore loser" laws that won't allow you to be on the ticket of...

Maybe in about 3 years, that would be a good idea. Unfortunately, it's too late to get on the ticket now in most states. They either have "sore loser" laws or simultaneous registration dates for the general election and primary, which effectively keeps a candidate from switching lanes to pass...

How many states would allow an indy candidate on the ballot this late, especially one that ran in the primary. It's not looking good.

I think that it would be poor form for Ron Paul to even ask to be put on the Libertarian ticket. GJ/JG earned their spots on the ticket. They should come out and say that RP would be Secretary of State or some other high cabinet office. Then he should endorse and campaign for them. Dr. Paul...
