I think it's essentially the same thing to ask, "Why are you a conservative/Republican?" To me that says pretty much everything about a candidate, assuming they answer honestly. I'm sure none would say it's because they couldn't get on the Democratic ballot.

Thanks for posting this. I would've missed the vote for sure. I wouldn't vote on anything other than 5 & 6 though. Too often these initiatives or amendments aim to make the government more effective, but aside from essential services I want the government to be as inefficient as possible.
If there is someone who particularly inspires you try to see if they have a biography. In other words try and take a cue from someone who's been there. In the current economy though, you need to find a way to kick things up a notch.
