How does this hurt Rand politically?
Would we be better off if Rand did not do this filibuster?
Is this sort of thing not more well placed after Rand has courted and gained the admiration of the establishment?
You prefer the more watered down version of Rand?
I like how backing Rand Paul into a corner and attacking him has made him want to play less politics and speak more from his heart. This makes me want to donate.
At OP. I respect your questions and willingness to vet your own beliefs. I have attempted to do the same with the socialist left. Unfortunately the well-intentioned olive branch I extended quickly got me banned on democratic underground.

Do you really believe that is the best way to represent yourself at a supposedly peaceful demonstration? I'm not saying I don't want to fight three of those weak stick figures at the same time, but I think a Socratic dialogues highlighting their lack of ideology, thoughtfulness, arguments...
I’m sure this questions had most likely been beaten to death over and over again, but I am wondering about what RPF’s thinks about the future of the US and world economies. I understand that markets are impressionable and sensitive systems that are 100% impossible to predict with complete...
I can totally agree w/ the last few expressed sentiments. The animated intro is EXTREMELY engaging, but the Q and A with the panelists gets REALLY boring. I'm actually happy that is IS so boring because it is overtly against the family, private property, and freedom in many ways.

Paul could be president one day, he's going to be so well liked, even by the establishment. Although he acts diplomatic, he has held true to campaign promises better than any of the other supposed tea party caucus.
I'm not sure if this is good or bad.
One end it's good that the people are rising up and not being powerless, and also that they are overthrowing a despotic regime.
At the same end, this kind of unfocused rage, is what usually leads to tyrants coming to power rather than legitimate republics...
I cannot understand how sheeple can watch this sort of trash, it's so not entertaining. First time I've seen Palin's daughter, didn't she get pregnant or something? Did she have it or what? My pop culture information is severely lacking.
People should have the good sense no matter what their beliefes are to keep "9/11 was an inside job," out of a discussion about economics. And a lot of these supposed "fringe thinkers" are Ron Paul's base.
That's a good starting point, with a bit of campaigning we could probably take the State in the primaries. I know a ton people not as interested in politics, that I could get to jump on the Ron Paul bandwagon.
I totally agree! But can you get elected saying that? Maybee we should Audit it first and then build more ammunition for our case. As long as Rand hasn't changed inside, he does not have to sound like his father. Ron is brutally honest, Rand is cunning and diplomatic.
I wish Rand would mention that the 10% employment figure is an "official number." Unless he's talking about KY numbers.
I'm hopping that he has secret plans of running for President if Gary Johnson or his father do not end up being successful. If the dollar collapsed completely, even though...
